Vice President Joe Biden won’t be lectured by Republicans about killing Christmas.
“Don’t tell me about Christmas,” said Biden, a former Delaware senator, in an interview with NBC’s Andrea Mitchell. “I understand Christmas. I've been a senator for a long time. I've been there many years where we go right up to Christmas.”

Nothing odd at all. Elected office makes a person an expert in everything, as does cinematic or musical stardom.
Those people can understand Christmas better than you or me. They're our elite overlords and speak authoritatively on all things. Question them at your own peril.
That BIden hates everything and everyone but himself should’ve been obvious years ago during the Clarence Thomas hearings when he turned his participation into the Joe Biden Show.
A priceless example of the wistful self-involvement, the
