I don’t spit on the US military either. Just like I don’t sell my kids to the zoo, even though I sometimes feel like it.

Most people in the military are good people and they have my utmost respect. There are things the leadership has done for which I have contempt. That is what I am saying.

I would never spit on anybody. Even people within the military who make an honorable man (who is sacrificing as much as anybody in the military has ever sacrificed) grovel before a judge to convince her that right is wrong and wrong is right. That information was new to me and I cannot think of anything more disgusting to ask of an honorable, truthful man. It’s like hearing the latest great torture technique, sort of took me aback a bit.

Seems like people are misunderstanding what I said. For the sake of peace will you please take the offending post down? I only meant to say how utterly disgusted I am at the thought of the leadership forcing an honorable, truthful man to grovel before a lying Denise Lind trying to convince her that up is down.

I would support this move.

I understood what BDZ said and the context it came from. I know from my own perspective I am pretty emotionally upset at this development, and I am certain she is as well. We all say things in the heat of the moment which, had we not been so emotionally tied to the results, we would have chosen to phrase differently or made more clear.

I believe that Butterdezillion’s comments are too easily taken out of context, and that contextual error would lead one who does not know her better to a conclusion which is at the very least inaccurate.

From all I know of her, BDZ is one of the blokes in the white hats.

Thats my 2 cents for what it’s worth.

Got news for you too. Military officers do not have quite the luxury of picking and choosing which orders to follow. If they fail to obey on grounds that an order is unlawful, then they’d best be lawyered up and if found in the wrong, they’ll have plenty of time to think about it.

Lakin was making a political protest based on conspiracy theory. Not a wise move.

We may not like it, bur Obama IS the President of the United States and the Commander-in-chief. And the war is authorized by the United States Congress. Do not ask our military officers to get caught up in political conspiracy theory.

Lakin screwed up big time and is now going to pay the consequences.

The military is not the place for POLITICAL PROTESTS!! PERIOD!!

I must say...that is by far the funniest thing I have ever seen you say...that was hysterical.
