Time to Whack TSA and its Leash Holder with a Big Stick (Vanity)

America, the time is come to exercise a national “check and balance” on federal power. I am not referring to the ballot box—we need a “club” of Neanderthal proportions. It is time to throw a national “blanket party” (ask your granddad). Those agencies and individuals who have made Standard Operating Procedure of their once occasioned “molestation” of the U.S. Constitution in general—and the 4th Amendment in particular—need to feel the “Big Stick” upside the head, and damn soon too.

What profit to America is security without liberty? In the process of “making America safe”—by force—the Federal government now aggressively acts to deprive Americans of their personal freedoms and dignity at an incredible pace. What benefit to Americans that we are “kept safe”? Cattle destined for slaughter are “kept “safe”—by physical fences, and by force of law. Are we cattle? Present government policy notwithstanding, Americans are supposedly free individuals, endowed by our Creator with certain inalienable rights. I did not see “irradiation” and “molestation” on the list. A truly free people do not tolerate overt acts of tyranny. Those born free think it better to sacrifice their lives rather than allow the surrender of freedoms. We Americans have “walked softly” for too long. We have waxed complacent, apathetic, and some apologetic to their tyrants—“We the Abused” act as a nation afflicted by the Stockholm syndrome. It is time, my fellow Americans, to drop the victimization routine, take out a “big stick,” and thump a bump on the stump of those who have tread upon us greatly and so unjustly. We owe that much to those who gave all the morning of September 11, 2001.

My observation is not limited to the TSA thugs who raise physical molestation to a "procedural art form". The arrogance and open hostility that federal agencies and their officers now routinely display at the slightest hint of protest against unwanted and unwarranted intrusions is becoming the norm—and, worse, these acts of tyranny are becoming the “accepted” norm by far too many of our countrymen. Moreover, a hard indifference to constitutional liberties and established norms of American civility is spilling over into government at every level—from Governor all the way down the line to the municipal dog catcher. We are enabling our molesters.

We now have incontrovertible evidence that the Federal government’s latest aggression against American liberty is based not on the realities of war, but on a false doctrine that despises reason, holding the American citizen a danger, while providing aid, comfort, unlimited access and constitutional protections to our enemies. That Muslims—the single reason for our present condition—are excluded from the “assault and battery” now regularly perpetrated against the American traveler—and our liberties—from the infant to the elderly, from the healthy to the infirm and disabled, proves that the object of federal power is not the preservation of the life and property of American citizens, nor the preserving of the American nation. The “end game” in this expanding scope of intimidation is the elevation and preservation of the new paradigm--that of the State, by the State and for the State. It is America that is being “molested”—and systematically stripped naked of those essential liberties enumerated in the Constitution. Our personal violation is but a symptom of the progressive rape that has gone unabated for over 100 years. That our mortal enemy is allowed to conduct their own self screening, aside from the patent absurdity, proves that those who govern us are completely void of any saving virtue, and thus must be immediately removed from office—or We the People will perish.

I remind the reader of this maxim: tyranny is a monster that grows exponentially with appeasement. What we may naively label as “soft” tyranny today is guaranteed to metastasize into the “hard” variety tomorrow—if it has not yet done so—as the saying goes: out of sight, out of mind. Like the iceberg that brought down the “unsinkable” RMS Titanic, the deadly portion of tyranny we do not see—the planned stuff waiting in the wings for its national “debut”—lies just beneath the surface, deceivingly silent, but no less cold, hard and brutal in its capability to inflict devastating damage. Our present course of apathy is taking us on a collision with disaster, and I fear the “rudder” of our ship of state—that’s you and me—is too small to make the desperately needed correction. The recent election seems to me a rearranging of deck chairs—not a true change of course. Time may tell differently, but radical action is increasingly proving itself necessary now, not after we strike the iceberg. Failing this action, our date with destiny is biding its time, patiently waiting to send the supposedly “unsinkable” USS Constitution to the bottom of the ocean’s blackest depths. If Columbia sinks beneath the waves, there will be no salvage operation capable of righting her.

Plan A: A request that every person considering or having planned air travel during the Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays, cancel those plans, thus bringing the airline industry to its knees during its most lucrative time of the year. This is radical but a required intervention. The ensuing public flames will scorch the word “impeachment” across the backside of every individual associated with the present Administration. True, this method will financially damage the air transportation industry, but they survived the attacks of September 11, 2001—and the loss of revenue that followed in the wake of the national grounding of all air traffic. They will survive a month of total “boycott.” The American people will thus send a powerful message to Congress, and they will likely reign in the TSA. This plan has the added benefit of damaging the Marxist-dominated Unions--ALWAYS a plus where freedom is concerned. Our second greatest weapon is our wallets. Payback is a bitch—and we surely have been treated as such by Big Sister and her company of eunuchs in this tyrannical Administration, beginning with the “little corporal” presently occupying a chair far too big for his small thoughts.

Plan B: Well, that involves our weapon of last resort—the American citizen’s “nuclear option”---we may not be there, just yet. But I believe the possibility of its use is just over the horizon.

I think it is more likely people will just put up with whatever small modifications the TSA rolls out the next few weeks. Sad to say but that is just the state of the country now.

” (ask your granddad)”?
Why I ought ta,

Well in the OLD days in the military, when you had ONE goober that ALWAYS caused the rest trouble they may get a “blanket party”.
Some unidentified person would throw a blanket over the screw ups head and others may or may not punch his sorry ass. As many times as they thought necessary.
Technically that is a blanket party.

The President, Secretary of Homeland Security, and Director of the TSA are accomplices to sexual assault and violations of civil rights. Impeach Napolitano first, then Obama - try and convict them both in the Senate. Let the individual states arrest Pistole and try him for his crimes. Sue them all for liable.

Sad to say but that is just the state of the country now.

A country that will put up with perverts strip searching their children over fears of boogey men coming to get them deserves its fate on the ash heap of history.

So long America, there aren't any liberty-loving Americans left. They're all sheep that deserve their slavery.

I keep reading these high minded, angry, and appropriate screeds but in the news I only read about infants and invalids kicking up a fuss. (Save for "junk guy" who was blindsided.)

IMO your suggestion is the best, fastest, surest way to put a stop to the TSA. If hundreds of people and/or parents who have had their children groped or removed from their control and sight would file suit, against the individual TSA agent, their supervisors, right up the whole chain of command. Insist on legal charges against them and enlist attorneys to sue for millions. Demand investigations of child porn, sexual deviants, etc. etc.

May they really anger someone with deep pockets and political clout.

Pardon me, but doesn’t the taking of this womans phone constitute yet another act of ‘Unreasonable Search And Seizure’?

Absolutely. And the obvious purpose is to conceal the abuse... so that touches on conspiracy. This could go places the TSA has never imagined... I think “impeachment” is a growing possibility.

My concern is that someone will get pushed over their threshold of endurance, and do something “rash.” Then things will spin out of control faster than the ability of our lapdog media to run its usual interference. IOW: SHTF

Apparantly, the headline alone will warrant an $11,000 fine.

every person considering or having planned air travel during the Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays, cancel those plans, thus bringing the airline industry to its knees

Have such cancellation plans with a large family over Christmas despite the paid for tickets.
Most folks buy their airline tickets as cheap as they can, which is usually nonrefundable.
If we don't go, they still have our money (which is fine with me), just several empty seats come boarding time.

What frosts me the most is that this whole mess was brought about by faceless bureaucrats in the TSA.

Congress never voted for this kind of invasive skin-searching. No Cabinet level official had anything to say about it, unless Napolitano signed an approval for it somewhere down the line.

These unelected officials get to screw up our lives and they’re not accountable for the grief they cause.

Oh really?
