Hillary Clinton: I Would Not Submit to One of TSA’s Patdowns (Too bad for you ordinary folks)
MEDIA ITE ^ | 11/21/2010 | Nisha Chittal

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton made the Sunday talk show rounds this morning, appearing on Fox News Sunday, CBS’s Face the Nation, and NBC’s Meet the Press. The topic of conversation: TSA’s new security measures and national security.

On Face the Nation, host Bob Schieffer asked Secretary Clinton whether she would submit to one of TSA’s controversial new patdowns.

“Not if I could avoid it. No. I mean who would?” she responded.

However, she did note that while she feels the new patdowns should be made less intrusive, they are still a necessary security measure. On Meet the Press, she told David Gregory “I mean obviously the vast, vast majority of people getting on these planes are law abiding citizens who are just trying to get from one place to another. But let’s not kid ourselves. The terrorists are adaptable.”

“Striking the right balance is what this is about. And I am absolutely confident that our security experts are gonna keep trying to get it better and less intrusive and more precise…Everybody is trying to do the right thing and I understand how difficult it is, and how offensive it must be for the people who are going through it,” she said.

The worst part about this is half the country will still support elitists like Hillary.

She could say “I couldn’t care less if you all live or die”

and millions of libtards will call her a “smart, tough, champion of human rights”

Yes they're adaptable, but in 99% of the cases they have some kind of muslim ties, and they almost always come from a middle eastern background. I'm sorry but no matter how good you are, and most hijackers are not experts, if you have a bomb or weapon you're going to be nervous, you may not have proper paperwork and you'll most likely have come or be going to an international flight.

What about armed sky marshals or secure cockpits like El-Al uses? It seems there are more sensible ways of doing this , that includes PROFILING.

What a ridiculous thing to say. Everybody knows that the problem would not be Hitlery having to go through a screening, the issue would be that they wouldn’t be able to find anybody willing to give the screening.

No they aren't. How many terrorists have the new security measures caught? How many terrorist attacks occurred last year when these new measures weren't in place?

There's one good thing about these new security measures - they've passed the point of obnoxiousness and headed into the realm of outright assault on airline passengers, and people are starting to wake up and question the need for the whole security theater that we've been putting up with since 9/11.

And here is the first solvo across the bow of Obama’s ship of state.

This is unreasonable search and seizure and since all the Democrats in high office seem to be lawyers, they ought to know this.

"Now begins Hitlery’s campaign to distance herself from the Obama Administration."

Bill and Hilly have a big target painted on Obama's back. Count on it. This will be fun to watch.

Well, yes. But in this case I think she's just trying to pour some salt into Barry's TSA wound.

Not honesty.. But she is smart enough to watch the effect Sarah Palin achieves by commonsense siding with the people, and she is smart enough to learn.

Look for more of this pseudo- populist sentiment from Hillary as she positions herself for 2012. She knows that as of 2010 the usual liberal/ leftist hogwash has expired, so she will be moving toward a false-front center/right.

The TSA supporting the terrorists have successfully suceeded in making air travel downright impossible as a free alternative. They now can move on to their next ‘targets’. Mail bombs - TSA will screen at the USPSs now I assume. Poison bombs in the water - even in [screech!] bottled water. TSA will have to screen each water purchase and use anyone takes. A McDonald’s Burger may even blow up....so you’ll have to endure the TSA screen at the drive thru window - and at the counter....finally, for all you lib weeny elites, in the near future, terrorists will bomb your mocha choco double-triple latte with sprinkles and foam/cream and you’ll have to get a TSA screening and feelup by TSA before you suck it down.

This is posted on this site but here is also a good place.

Israeli airport technology detects intent of terrorists

http://www.israel21c.org/technology/israeli-airport-technology-detects-intent-of-terrorists

Built to replace human selectors or random check ups of visitors, the SDS-VR-1000 is based on the assumption that sophisticated terrorists might not be included in suspect lists. Not many terrorists walk into an airport waving a banner announcing who they are. They don’t carry handguns or try to conceal explosives as they debark from an international flight into the United States. And just as rarely do they have police records.

So how can US officials go about identifying potential terrorists? A new solution is Israel’s Suspect Detection Systems (SDS) - a company that has developed an advance automated filtering tool for identifying potential suspects with hostile intentions among masses of tens of thousands visitors.

Consider it a personal polygraph machine, that will make air travelers infinitely safer, says SDS CEO Shabtai Shoval, a former division manager at Comverse Technology who founded SDS along with former head of the Israel Police’s polygraph division Yeshayahu Horowitz and former deputy Mossad chief Amiram Levin.

“Our system makes an initial assessment within three minutes. If the system identifies a suspect, he can be sent to a personal agent to complete the investigation,” Shoval said.
Shoval explained that the inspiration his journey from Comverse to airport security was spurred by the September 11 attacks, as well as a viewing of a Tom Cruise movie.
