MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. A Minneapolis couple is preparing for the arrival of their first child. That is, unless internet voters decide they should have an abortion instead.
Pete and Alisha Arnold have created a website called Birthornot.com, where theyve been posting updates on Alishas pregnancy since September. But this site is unlike any other expectant parents blog: this site has a poll that asks viewers, Should we give birth or have an abortion?

Sick idiots!
When it’s all said and done, the vote in Heaven will be the vote these people will have to face.
Wow. Just wow.
Life is so cheap nowadays as to be put to the whims of an Internet mob fir fun.
Even if it’s not real (doing it for attention), it says a lot about the state of society.
As noted in the 10 or 15 prior posts - the site is a pro-life HOAX.
With this much love and desire to have the baby, they should put the child up for adoption.
might as well be in the Colliseum with the proverbial thumbs up or thumbs down vote based on crowd reaction.
...might be a ruse to get the traffic.
If so, it's brilliant.
It shows the child via ultra-sound, and the terrible, arbitrary nature of the decision to murder under color of "choice". Think about it: No other victims of abortion even get the chance to *put it to a vote*.
I say have the baby and give it up for adoption. These twits obviously are not fit to be parents.
Seems to me their parents should have aborted them!
Still on Drudge, with a link to the Star-Tribune story, which included interviews with the couple. The story mentions that some bloggers presumed it was a hoax, but nothing about it actually being one.
I agree, the whole thing is going viral and that is exactly what they want, for people to just think about the whole issue of abortion and the arbitrary way it can be decided.
true or not, it’s going to help the pro-life movement.
Their doing this to get attention. They’re stupid at best and evil at worst. oh dear look lets ask people on the internet if we should execute our child or not? They will probably make horrible parents.
Site says almost 81% for Birth.
109,000 votes casted. Hopefully they'll listen.
I browse DU on occasion. Saw this on there yesterday. Even the DUmmies were unanimously appalled (though a few of them thought this was a pro-life stunt to make pro-abortioners look bad).

If someone truly believes a baby is no more than a tissue mass, why not hold it hostage over someone who might feel compelled to save a life? (emotional extortion)
I agree - attention whores the two of them. Maxing this this out to 20 weeks - when even if you have no qualms about abortion, it is far more dangerous to the mother and far more expensive.
The best thing to hope for is that this is a total hoax and she is not pregnant at all.
What a couple of sick, sick minded people. Lord help us.
