Palin is not only a phenomenon in politics, but TV and the English language as well

Can healings and feedings of thousands be far behind?!? I think that's what Obama intends

The breadth and depth of Palin's support is highly misunderestimated.

Can you tell me what you mean by the next Ronald Reagan? Ive heard the comparison before, but have never been sure of what it actually means. I see two completely different types of people. Some people "get" America and can articulate what it means to, and some don't.
Both she and Reagan do, and their love for America seems to define them.
It's really common sense, which seems as uncommon as ever now.

Agreed, and while I like and admire the Palins the level of worship of this human being in certain corners is disturbing on a level approaching day in the life threads. What a grand idea! A DAY IN THE LIFE OF PRESIDENT PALIN! (TRY to be original)
There's no 'worship' going on. You should be smart enough to know that much. Her supporters like to root for her, whereas your hobby runs between mocking her or her supporters.

“Shes going to win the primaries and be the nominee.”
This remains to be seen.
“And I assume you will be voting for her,”
I will vote for whomever wins the GOP nomination. Primaries? I’ll keep my powder dry until I see who is running.

r9etb, so who are your top picks for Republican presidential candidates? Am just curious.

“Hows Romney doing, LOL”
Beats me, I don’t support or follow him. Seeing the world in one extreme or the other is not the sign of a healthy mind. There are other possible candidates than Palin or Romney. You do realize this, yes? Frankly I like Jim Demint a heck of a lot. If he were to seek the nomination, I would vote for him over Sarah in the primary.

Perhaps it would be better for you to just ignore Sarah Palin, and ignore any threads on the subject of Sarah Palin.
If she is as inconsequential as you would suggest, then why do you obsess on her so much?
To: onyx
To ALL: How many remember the day she stood up on that podium when McCain introduced her? The speech she gave got me so fired up it was unreal....I feel no less fired up since then about her. She is blazing a trail when all the forces are against her. The media and the miserable liberals hate her.
WHY?...
Because they know she is us....

Can healings and feedings of thousands be far behind?!? You must mean market solutions for health care and fixing the economy. Yes she can do that, but the numbers will probably be in the millions, not thousands.

Remember that little book series years ago?
"A Friend is Someone Who Likes You." Sarah likes the same things we like and she likes, loves, America. America's love for Sarah will only grow as she reinforces what's good about our country, and ourselves.
Her Alaska series is a lovefest for modern pioneers. We get to enjoy her exploits vicariously. It's wholesome and beautiful.

Fascinating possibilities! Indeed! She changes the national dialogue with three words: "Obama's Death Panels" and she's been proved right. There *are* Death Panels. It's also been shown by exit polls that seniors voted overwhelmingly for the Republican over the democrat because of Sarah Palin alerting them to "Death Panels."

Yes, thank you, traderrob6! Krugman actually used Sarah’s words, “death panels” when admitting they exist.
