Can healings and feedings of thousands be far behind?!?
Now, Now, didn’t your mama teach you to play nice...
Yeah, well, I hear she can walk on water, too.
Sycophancy is disgusting enough ... But when it's applied to a politician -- any politician -- it's downright dangerous.
“I never seen this in my lifetime...”
Walking across the Bering sea?
“Yeah, well, I hear she can walk on water, too.”
I’m sure she can. I know I can. Where she lives, it’s commonplace.
I’m thinking the next new word might be “hopeychangey”...but not sure if Obama or Palin should get credit for it ;-)
In AK everybody walks on water all winter long.
“Can healings and feedings of thousands be far behind?!?”
Interestingly, if she were to be elected President and improved healthcare and the economy, then, in a way, she could be credited with healing and feeding. Weird, huh?
For my money, she's the only one on the horizon at this point.
There’s an interesting dichotomy at work in the political spectrum.
There’s the official, elected end, which has historically held unlimited power. And then there’s the unelected end - the people who mix among the people and communicate to them the ideas and beliefs which they believe are correct.
And in this day and age of hyper-communication, the gap seems to be closing quickly on the question of which end of the spectrum can wield more power. A powerful and persuasive voice such as Sarah Palin’s is arguably more powerful than the President himself. When the idea-sowers (like Palin) can contribute to such a huge shift in power in the legislative branch, they are arguably more lethal in the arena of politics. This wasn’t just about tipping the balances in Congress, this was an utter castration of Barack Obama that took place earlier this month.
The question, then, is where Sarah Palin fits in. In biblical terms, is she a queen or a prophetess? Is she more important to conservatism as a prophetess free to speak her mind? Or is she better off tangling with the legislative branch and having the Presidential bully pulpit whever every syllable is dissected and criticized? In the past, no questions, I’d say she’d more important as a “queen” than a “prophetess”. But given how much power she has RIGHT NOW - to be a kingMAKER - is she more valuable in that role going forward?
The other intriguing possibility is that Sarah Palin could indeed become BOTH “queen” and “prophetess” by taking office and CONTINUING to use outlets like Twitter and Facebook to spread the conservative message. It would be clearly unorthodox, but whereas Obama is a prissy little coward, Sarah Palin is fearless and could very well revolutionize presidential communications the way FDR did during the Depression and World War II.
Fascinating possibilities!

Agreed, and while I like and admire the Palins’ the level of worship of this human being in certain corners is disturbing on a level approaching “day in the life” threads.
I just had to smile! :^)
Can you tell me what you mean by “the next Ronald Reagan”? I’ve heard the comparison before, but have never been sure of what it actually means. I see two completely different types of people.
It’s not worship, it just is what it is. She’s great and continues to prove it. They tried to turn her into Madoff and she’s on top. What’s wrong with that ? Would we like to win the election or say we all agree with (insert name) and get killed? She’s going to win the primaries and be the nominee. It’s going to happen. And I assume you will be voting for her, not Obama. What’s wrong with that ?
Is it possible to like her w/o being a synchophant or is that just another cliche?
Pray for America
When you start characterizing Palin’s popular support as “worship”, you really have gone off the rails.
NEWSFLASH: nobody thinks that Palin is literally God, just like no-one thinks that Reagan, Thatcher, Golda Meir, Churchill etc were literally Gods. They were simply people who stood up and did good, and who have earned our grateful thanks.
How’s Romney doing, LOL.
