The police are doing their job. Leaders in the African American and Latino communities have struggled to do their part, as well.

The police -- yes, the police are doing their job.
Leaders in the African American and Latino communities? Please! They are the problem. These are dysfunctional cultures and they need to get this message out. Character matters. Work matters. School matters. What these communities are doing is killing themselves, and too often their leaders see the situation as a way to enrich themselves (Sharpton, Jackson, etc.)

You are 100% correct. It is not the guns, it is the people who use them. People who basically have no respect for themselves so why would we think they would have respect for others.
