Sarah Palin Taunts 'Assassin' Kathleen Parker: "I'm still standing"
Friday, November 12, 2010 | Kristinn

Posted on 11/12/2010 9:19:26 AM PST by kristinn

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin responded on Twitter this morning to the admission by pseudo-conservative TV host Kathleen Parker that Parker "led" the media "assassination" of Palin during the 2008 presidential campaign after Palin became the Republican vice presidential nominee.

While debating Palin supporter John Ziegler on CNN last night, Parker admitted her role:

ZIEGLER: You took part in the targeting of Sarah Palin. You essentially took part in the assassination of Sarah Palin 1.0. That person is dead; she doesn't exist any more.

PARKER: No, no, no. Actually, I did not take part in it: I led it. Let's be clear. Let's get our facts straight.

Palin taunted Parker with her response posted on Twitter today:

SarahPalinUSA Parker: appreciate your admittance. Now, I'm still standing;Standing by family, faith & flag. Who do u stand by today?http://bit.ly/d5p72x

Remember Jim “I’m a gay American’’ McGreevy, our former NJ governor? Well at the time the Spitzer thing broke the joke here was “New Jersey has a governor who swallows. New York has a governor who’’ spits’’.

I think Sarah does so much public speaking, (especially during recent Tea Party campaigning) that like any normal person, her voice gets strained when she goes on back to back marathon rallies. - Maybe gargling some lemon juice, honey and salt in warm water would help. . or some honey & lemon juice Ricola cough drops.

LOL Both of them were vile human beings. I can’t believe that CNN has enough money to waste airtime on a degenerate and his charlatan sidekick.

Spoken like a true far left media hoot!

She has the highest rankings of any candidate; has the fullest grasp of every issue; has conveyed her positions articulately enough to spark massive outrage from the destroyers; how does that add up to a loser?

If its anyone but Palin, the country isn’t going to make it.

After the way they were savaged by the critics I thought CNN pulled the show. Apparently it’s still going but I don’t imagine it’s going to last.

FR is not devoted to ‘natural law!’

Jim has declared FR to be a Christian site, thus pagan foolishness like ‘natural law’ are part of what we reject.

Pagan Cicero's “Natural Law” was incorporated into the faiths of the Founders—it was only the earliest of the philosophies and beliefs accepted by them to buttress the architecture of the dogma that made the US Constitution what it was.
Jewish and Christian principles were primary in the endeavor but they were not the first—”Natural Law” was the root reality in America's creation as much as Marx's “Communism” is the foundation for all variations of socialism from Stalin To Hitler To Obama.

Folks, it was just an elaborate goof on “I’m Still Standing”. I didn’t mean to set off a heavy philosophical discussion.

No, the photos weren’t strictly necessary...although, in my opinion, Bruno pretending to cavort with a beach girl is pure comedy gold. Heck, the expression on his face alone is pure comedy gold.

Natural law nonsense is why our constitution is in the shape it is in today.

A handful of well-meaning, but confused patriots sealed the destruction of that which they most wished to preserve. (and, sadly, they had it right in the Declaration of Independance, if only they had continued in that path)

Here’s CNN’s idea of a “conservative.”

JOHN ZIEGLER: So you didn’t buy into the Obama moderation myth?

KATHLEEN PARKER: I did.

ZIEGLER: You were duped by the media —

PARKER: I was one of those people who thought this is a guy who is talking about not a red, not a blue America, and who’s going to bring the country together.

ZIEGLER: So you were duped.

PARKER: I was at that 2004 Democratic convention.

ZIEGER: Were you duped?

PARKER: No, I’m not going to say I was duped, I’m saying —

ZIEGLER: So you stand by that.

PARKER: Listen to you: I’m the interviewer here. [Nervous laughter] This is fun; this is fun. But I wrote critical things of him, and I still write critical things of him.

ZIEGLER: You endorsed him. You endorsed him before the election. And you took pride —

PARKER: I did not endorse. I did not endorse.

No one cares about Parker outside the Washington Beltway so why elevate her?

All of the media will now have to report this because it's about Sarah Palin. This is a one time hit for Parker who will have a hard time getting in the news again no matter what she says.

Like Sara but she’s a sure loser in a general election. If we want to make Obama a one-termer, we need a different nominee. (Romney and Huckabee are also fine, but near-sure loser. We need a fresh face.)

Sorry but that's just wrong headed thinking. Use Cali as an example. We continually put up squishy Republicans for state offices and we continually lose seats. The main reason Whitman lost was that she couldn't garner enthusiasm from her own party.

I used to think the way you're thinking....need to appeal to a broader range of voters... but no longer. If the dems are going to vote for someone with their own core values they aren't going to have an R after their name!

Please don't be fooled by this ploy to keep strong conservatives out of office. We are in the fight of our lives and we need to stick together and not let the opposition split us up.
