The perverts get their jollies from sending kids and women through those scanners and now if the traveler refuses to be strip scanned they get groped and molested?

Wow.

Abolish the TSA.

"We don't want them in uniform going through this enhanced screening where their private areas are being touched in public," said Volpe. "They actually make contact with the genital area."

Just look what people are put through now...private areas touched in public? And we simply accept it. All because of Muslims. All because we won't "racially profile." How long before we all have to strip down to our undies or less at the airport, and all of us, like sheep, meekly do it?

I think I'm through with flying.

If the airlines are going ahead with this invasive patting down I think they’d better buy their passengers dinner and a movie. It only seems fair.

All this because some Saudi's boarded four planes in 2001 and attacked America.

All middle easterners leaving the middle east must sit in a waiting room ... or gymnasium ... long enough for every national agency (American, British, French .. whatever) to thoroughly check you out before you even enter the passenger area of an airport.

Screw your dignity and privacy ... they're repairable, lost lives are not.

Another check at the end flight.

This is an age of electronics and communications ... if "business people" must travel to another country, I personally don't buy the "it's business" story.

If you're an Iraqi that wants to vacation in the USA ... plan three weeks ... two for the security hold and investigation(s) and one to see sights.

According to a union email obtained by ABC15, it tells flight attendants if they opt out of using the body scanner through security and are required to undergo a pat-down to ask the pat-down be conducted in a private area with a witness.

I read on an 'Opt Out' site that it's better to demand the pat-downs in a public area - refuse going to a private room.

What do you want to bet that the government screeners doing the same-sex pat downs include a very large number of homosexual men and lesbians? All in the name of diversity, of course.

They can thank the underwear bomber for this.

Has anyone pointed out that neither the body scanners nor these invasive pat-downs would have detected the underpants bomber?

Interesting comment by a reader:

I recently returned from the South Pacific and had to connect through LAX and finally home.

I will explain I'm your average WASP, White Anglo-Saxon Protestant.

At LAX I had to change terminals for my connector. Checking in, I was greeted by a angry female African-American agent. After pleasantries were exchanged and I finally received my boarding pass I watched as the agent took out a pink hi-lite and marked my boarding pass.

I noted the person behind me was of African-American descent and watched the agents demeanor change instantly. I decided to watch this particular agent as something just didnt fit. What I noticed was astoundingly shocking. Every white person who dealt with this agent had a pink hi-lite mark on their boarding pass. What was more astounding was every (white) person with a pink hi-lite was automatically sent for secondary screening regardless if they passed the initial screening. I was thoroughly incensed and brought my objections to this 'profiling' to the airlines management. What I'm getting at, is your only as good as the person you are dealing with. In this case, this individual thought her way of 'higher security' was to annoy caucasians.

in this one instance I think they should mimic the French and walk off the job. Three or four days with no air travel and the gubbermint will fold like a three-dollar card table.

Isn’t this ridiculous?

They don’t have to remove their turbans, but the turbans will be “patted down.”

Oh yes, and this is good...they can carry a blade:
“Men have long accepted they cannot carry a sword aboard planes, Badal said, and so have modified the religious requirement by carrying pendants or blades embedded in their comb “as a symbolic symbol.”

A flight attendant friend is telling me that it's her belief that the cleaning crew's that come aboard the aircraft between flights do not go through security. As well as employees of the various business's inside the terminal that are beyond the security check points. If this proves to be true it is a major lapse of security.

More reasons I won’t resume flying. Flying used to be a pleasant adventure when I was young; you got dressed up, and flew with a better class of people. The airline employees treated you well and the food wasn’t bad. Over the years the experience went downhill. I finally got fed up with airborne cattle cars over ten years ago and quit. I’ll either drive or stay home.

Pretty obvious...terrorists won that battle, and must be laughing their arses off in caves everywhere.

Personally I'd get rid of most, if not all, of that garbage. Life is a risk, live free or die...and if I have to die while living free...so be it. I'd rather die with dignity and freedom...than be shaken down by a government trained Gestapo.

This is not America...

What are sheeple willing to give up next?

....I'm sure evil Soros types are wondering also.
