All same thing GI ~ there's a common vocabulary throughout SE Asia for the "ingredients".

Did you ever notice the LABELS on the bottles and jars are in Thai, Chinese (kitchen and formal), English, French, Vietnamese, and Bhassa?

Yeah, the really good stuff usually has about 11 languages on the bottle.
