Same thing that happened to Buck in CO. I think Rossi was also hurt by the 3rd and 4th Party Candidates in WA.
Oh well, you can’t win them all.
Of course, the same can be said in many races. If not for Perot, Clinton would have never been a stain on the Country, or on a Blue Dress.

You can win some of them, let’s not forget the Florida election where the independent candidate (can’t remember his name, but he was a liberal) lost it for Al Gore giving Bush his win.
