Thanks for taking the time to inform everyone about your experience; and although I don't live in Texas, thanks for the responsible diligence you put into your work at the polls. Most of us have not done equal volunteer efforts in our own precincts, so kudos to you.
Serving as a Judge or Poll Watcher is not that hard.
I took two classes (6 hrs. total).
Election Day is a bit long, and I really hate getting up at 4 AM.
But the payoff is great!
