In the new issue of Vanity Fair, legendary singer Cher dished about her feelings on Sarah Palin and Arizona governor Jan Brewer. And surprise! shes not a fan of either.
I got so obsessed with [C-SPAN] that it was kind of interfering with my life, Cher told the magazine. Sarah Palin came on, and I thought, Oh, f---, this is the end. Because a dumb woman is a dumb woman.
The I Got Your Babe singer was even harsher on Brewer, who spearheaded the recent immigration crackdown in Arizona.
She was worse than Sarah Palin, if that is possible, said Cher. This woman was like a deer in headlights. Shes got a handle on the services of the state, and I would not let her handle the remote control.
Cher has been an outspoken critic of the conservative movement in the past. In 2008, she called President Bush the Big Divider and said the only way she would show her face at a Sarah Palin rally would be in my nightmares.
In the upcoming Vanity Fair interview, which will hit newsstands on Thursday, Cher also gabbed about taxes and American-made products.
I would be willing to pay a lot more taxes, because I make a lot more money, but I dont want to give them more to just f--- things up more, said the singer. It really should fall on people like me to get together and do things to help the people in this country. If youre not worrying about how to put food on your table, you [should be] worrying about why other people dont have food on their table.
I remember a great America where we made everything. There was a time when the only thing you got from Japan was a really bad cheap transistor radio that some aunt gave you for Christmas.
Who is this Cher?
Oh, here’s someone worth listening to.
Without those cheap transistor radios, none of us would ever have heard of Cher.
Small wonder her kids turned out the way they did.
This from a “woman” who is 95% spare parts.
That just proves that Palin has got more pizzaz than that skank.
Didn’t Cher say that she originally thought Mt. Rushmore was natural?
Hearing musicians talk about politics is only slightly less irritating than listening to politicians play music. Unless that music is Cher, of course. Then it’s REALLY annoying!!!
Cher must be auditioning for a movie. Got to impress the producer.
And I am being overly generous, my dear Cher, when I say that you are fading rapidly.
Cher has never exactly been the sharpest knife in the drawer. Her opinion on the intelligence of someone else hardly impresses me.
Rule of life #120: Disregard anything said by someone with only one name.
Well, she apparently has gone beyond shame: her film opening soon is called ‘Burlesque’.
You are free to cringe and do your best Ron White at this time. A stiff bourbon would help.
Cher must be drunk on Botox again. Or her daughter...er, son....er, daughter....er, whatever....been pushing the LGBT stuff again
You is good wit da wisecracks there, ahhh, Cher. But how are you with FACTS? How are you with understanding what MAKES good government in THIS country?
Nahhh, didn’t tink you had anyting else but da wisecracks...
Cher is well versed in life’s important matters... family, for example. /sarc
