THANK YOU VERY MUCH ;-)
(sending this around to friends and relatives)
Thanks!
It’s one of my favorites! Thanks!!
Cat Stephens, who is now Yusef Islam, and supports terrorism. Used to be a fav of mine. Now he is garbage.
One afternoon while I was a teenager in the mid-90’s, I discovered LP Records. My parent’s records. It was a treasure trove...I knew some of the music already, as I was a fan of classic rock already, but you know, some of the B-Sides never make it radio...and re-releasing old albums on CD was just starting. Anyway, in my Dad’s collection (at least, that is my assumption, it was tucked between KISS and INXS) was Cat Stevens Greatest Hits. The very last song was Morning Has Broken. I loved the song already, but doing it in a folk rock setting with his voice was just so cool I thought.
In case my Mom or Dad reads this (they are both Freepers)...yes, Cat Stevens is STILL tucked between KISS and INXS...I have always left them in the same order, I just added my own records to the end. :) And I don’t allow the kids to touch them. :)
WO! Ray Stevens and Cat Stevens couldn’t be more different! Ray is one of the good guys.

BRAIN FART. I love Ray Stevens!
I misread “RAY” STEVENS as CAT. I LOVE RAY STEVENS. My bad. But that is a great song byt CAT. Too bad he went over to the dark side. How can someone who could write a sweet song like that now support torture, stoning, beheadings, amputations, acid baths, and honor killings in the name of ALLAH.
How can such evil be considered a religion? The answer is obvious.
We all have them sometimes.
