CU's regents voted 8-1 to fire Churchill in 2007 because of academic-misconduct violations, after faculty members charged with investigating his body of work found patterns of plagiarism, fabricated facts and other academic-misconduct violations they said were deliberate.

Of course they were deliberate. You cannot promote the views this guy holds without fabricating facts. I do not believe he has a leg to stand on. The facts are the facts, there is more than enough evidence there to support an employment termination. His 9/11 drivel has nothing to do with it other than calling attention to himself. He was stupid enough to open his mouth on a controversial issue and get noticed. He should have been smart enough to keep a low profile given his less than stellar academic credentials, plagiarism, and questionable "facts" - all of which he would be well aware of. He got his 15 minutes of fame, at the expense of his career. Oh well, his loss is no loss to CU.
