This looks like some kind of movie or TV set and reeks of a staged photo op. If Putin is as rich as folks claim, his digs would certainly reflect his wealth — what’s the purpose if you can’t flaunt it?

For propaganda purposes he’ll go to the set for the publicity and the go back to his mansion or dacha. Russians aren’t buying it and neither should anyone else.

Care to speculate how much Putin is worth? This man spends a lot of time building upon his personality cult and his image as a strongman. You can discretely kill off quite a few political opponents, but you need a larger base of support from total saps to hold onto power.
