Paladino calls gays 'dysfunctional'
Associated Press ^ | REUVEN FENTON and JEREMY OLSHAN

Carl Paladino says it’s not okay to be gay.

"There is nothing to be proud of in being a dysfunctional homosexual," the Republican gubernatorial candidate told a small Hasidic group at K’hal Adas Kasho synagogue in Williamsburg today.

"That's not how god created us, and that's not the example that we should be showing our children."

Paladino, who has made his opposition to the gay marriage and "the homosexual agenda" clear, went much further yesterday, to say children "would be much better off and much more successful getting married and raising a family" than being gay."

"And I don't want them to be brainwashed into thinking that homosexuality is an equally valid and successful option," he said. "It isn't."

The speech came just days after the suicide of a gay Rutgers student and an anti-gay gang attack in the Bronx.

His Democratic opponent, Andrew Cuomo, blasted the remarks as "stunning homophobia and a glaring disregard for basic equality."

A campaign spokesman said "These comments along with other views he has espoused make it clear that he is way out of the mainstream a

Having sexuality is hardwired from birth. But the avenue (s) which one follows in sexuality is learned behavior. There are a very small percentage of people for whom sexual orientation awry is due to hormonal and thus genetic wiring gone awry, but the glands and hormones for the vast majority of humans is set on one of two marks. As an endocrinologist can tell you, nearly every huamn adult has both testosterone and estrogen circulating in their physiology, but the predominence for males is testosterone and for females is estrogen. The plumbing may be ambiguous at an early age in the embryonic stage of life, but the genetic predispostion for one or the other is already readable even in the zygote, for the vast majority of human beings.

I’m wondering if you’re trying to ‘judaize’ Christians!

I'm not a chr*stian and I don't advocate a Jewish/chr*stian syncretism. I'm a Noachide and advocate Noachism for all non-Jews.

Once a soul brings the brokena nd contrite spirit to the healing deliverance offered as the Grcae of God in Christ, living a life aligned with ‘the law’ requires two things: love the Lord your God with all you are, and love your neighbor as yourself. Picking at nits seems somehow a regression, not enlightenment.

And this is what the liberals say when they support "gay rights."

I've repeatedly asked you to differentiate between:

xzins' "logic":  "The logic is: Since "love" does no harm to its neighbor, love fulfills the law."

and

Aliester Crowley's "logic":  "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law. Love is the law, love under will."

You have failed to do so.

Why DIDN'T Jesus tell the woman at the well "go and continue your life of adultery; just make sure you commit adultery in "love" "?

Hmmm, has no one ever explained how the presence of God’s Holy Spirit works within the delivered soul? ... But i understand why you would try that little dig. If you can get me to react then we no longer have a rational discussion here. Nice try. Adios, auf wieder, chiao, shalom, pax vobiscum.

[the presence of God’s Holy Spirit works within the delivered soul?]

Does that presence work to unexist the due penalty for perversion articulated in Romans 1:27?

No, it does not.

Look up the definition of ‘non sequitur’ ... you use it a lot.

Take 2 aspirin and call me in the morning

He’s calling me a Satanist and Buggman a pervert for our belief that Paul and Jesus both said that the law is summed up in love.

I was hoping for some great witticism out of you that sliced and diced.

John Barleycorn must die!

The due penalty for perversion articulated in Romans 1:27 is comedic to you?

>>the law is summed up in love.

What logical effect does living in deliberate defiance of the Law have upon the assertion that one is living in the "love" articulated in Romans 13:10?

It renders that asserted love false.

If your "logic" is applied, then engaging in adultery, homosexuality, or any other perversion of the law is perfectly acceptable - as long as one does so in "love".

That's permission to sin - not forgiveness of sin; and permission to sin is the Gnostic gospel being peddled by elements of the ELCA who accept homosexual behavior.

NO SALE.

Loman,

Just get the Apostle Paul’s address and you can post to him. ‘Til then, there’s not much point in our repeating again (3rd or 4th time) the very same thing.

Me: Paul wrote it.

You: I don’t care.

So, I think I understand where you’re coming from. You reject scripture. Not much I can do about that.

NO SALE.

I have no clue what point you are trying to make. If you are asserting that anyone on this thread believes that grace equals license, then you are on the wrong forum.

>>You reject scripture.

You’re a Liar.

I don’t reject Romans 13:10

I simply recognize that when someone asserts they are manifesting the “love” of Romans 13:10 whilst living in perversion of the law - their assertion is false.

Jesus told the woman at the well to “go and sin no more” -

If He’d applied YOUR logic, He’d have told her to continue living in adultery, as long as she pretends it’s “love”.

Who was speaking in Matt 5:19-20?
Matt 5:19-20
19 Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
Who is the higher authority - Jesus or Paul?
