Sadly, whoever is Governor, the Rat legislature will still be there.

No one is pretending Meg Whitman is a conservative. However, where do you get the information that she is “a megalomaniac nasty scheming liar?”

Whitman is a traditional Republican. Rudy Giuliani endorsed her candidacy and campaigned with her today. She was also endorsed by Newt Gingrich, and she worked for McCain and Romney.

If traditional Republican is not your flavor, you’re free to vote for whomever, but where do you get all the personalized allegations vs. Whitman?

You nailed it. That is the real problem right there, the kook liberal legislature.

I just wonder about people who spend more time and energy attacking Republicans than the Democrats who are causing the worst of our problems.

Agreed. Actually, that’s a line from Dustin Hoffman in Meet the Fockers. Incidentally, I was at Universal Studios in Orlando the week that movie opened. As a promotion, Universal flew people in from around the country whose last anme was Focker. They all walked around Universal Studios wearing t-shirts with big letters stating “I’m a Focker.” Just one of life’s trivial but memorable moments.

First, Meg is arrogant. Her voice and attitude are highly arrogant. She makes Obama look shy.

Second, she has made ads in Spanish that completely contradict what her ads in English say about the AZ immigration law. She went live on the John and Ken show and lied her head off. She was caught in the crossfire and completely showed that she knows nothing but REALLY REALLY wants this job. She has spent over $100 million to get it, and she is making deals with the state unions in secret all while she is claiming to clamp down on the pensions that are killing us. Her sons are sociopaths. Spend a few minutes watching her, and you will know that she is not comfortable within her own skin. She is deeply flawed, just the type of person to not care if she takes a state down with her if something goes wrong. She cares ONLY about herself. She can’t even FAKE interest in the state very well. She doesn’t even vote.

All leftist politics are, also, not effective!

Interesting how you turned a thread about JERRY BROWN denying that mammograms are effective into your own personal rant vs. Meg Whitman.

So, how long have you been working for the Jerry Brown campaign and/or the Democrats?

You have seen me around here for years. You know better than that.

Meg may or may not be better than Brown here. I cannot vote for a lib, so I cannot vote for Brown, but I also cannot vote for Meg. Just because someone gets to have that R by their name does not make them a conservative, or even a decent person. Meg is clearly neither. I held my nose and voted for McCain but I can't bring myself to vote for Meg. That's how bad she is.

Yes, I remember that line now, but I'm not sure it originated with Meet the Fockers. Maybe it was an old rule of thumb for some conservation-minded rural culture?

I just wonder about people who spend more time and energy attacking Republicans than the Democrats who are causing the worst of our problems.

Because the days of compromising and promising to "work" with the Democrats are over. BTW, the "worst of the problems" you describe happened under a Republican, Arnold.

CA's problems are deeply entrenched and structural. You can't just promise to "cut spending" anymore. Whitman needs to downsize the state gov't and address the illegal alien situation or she'll be Arnold's 3rd term.

I think it originated somewhere on the backside of Mt. Herman over near Scotts Valley.

"Can we get off of mammograms?” Brown interjected. “I mean, first of all, if you read the Lancet Magazine in July, there's no statistical evidence that mammograms help anyone at any age. “So it's July 1995, Lancet Magazine. Okay? It's there.

WTH? I was under 50 when a mammogram showed lumps in each breast. They were very small, but they were there. They were removed and fortunately were NOT cancerous. They COULD have been cancerous, and the mammogram found them at a very early stage. Everybody knows that your best chance to beat cancer is to find it early. Well, everybody with half a brain, anyway. When God was handing out gray matter, Jerry was nowhere to be found.

Thanks Qbert.
Smelling blood after a Jerry Brown associate used the word "whore" in connection with Meg Whitman's campaign strategy, Republican sources have provided a 15-year-old video of the Democratic gubernatorial hopeful dismissing mammograms in an old interview.
Since this mammogram-free world is the official Obama administration position, Brown should be able to count on an Obama-Biden campaign stop. Quibble -- it was Brown who called Meg Whitman a whore, not one of his henchmen.

You are a trip sometimes.

The Dems can not override a veto unless its 2/3 and the GOP has the votes.

By the way. WI is alot like CA.
You have the Dems controlling the State house too just like CA and a Gov veto to kill stuff.

Cut us a break !!!
