Panther Pincer Movement
The Washington Times ^ | October 7, 2010 | Quin Hillyer

Two draft letters are whizzing around the offices and electronic in-boxes of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights today, both intended to be delivered to Attorney General Eric Holder, demanding that Holder live up to his pledges of transparency and rectitude in Department of Justice (DoJ) affairs. The most explosive demand is for documents ....The key thing here is that both memos were reportedly given to Civil Rights Division chief Thomas Perez before Perez testified under oath to the Commission on Civil Rights that he was unaware of, and would never countenance, such race-based decision-making. In short, if the memos' content is as now believed, they would raise serious questions -- again -- about Mr. Perez' truthfulness under oath.....

Good piece by Hillyer.

The USCCR should subpoena Julie Fernandes and put the question to her under oath. Holder and/or Perez will surely order her to ignore the subpoena (illegally).

After January the House can subpoena all of them and they will be forced to appear, can’t hardly wait!

Eric Holder is the single worst Atty General I ever recall.

Well, boy and girls, we’re all going to have to lay in a BIG supply of popcorn and be ready to fire up our poppers after November 2nd! Gonna be a lot of VERY interesting investigations and subpoenas coming out of House committees then, and with any luck, they’ll be pouring out of the Senate committees as well.

Zero is the worst president in US history. Why should his equally affirmative action AG be any difference?

"Eric Holder is the single worst Atty General I ever recall."

You don't recall Janet Reno?

Janet Reno had people murdered based upon their religion. Holder will have them murdered based on race.

Same deck, different card.

And don't forget Ramsey Clark.

Or is that too old?

I certainly hope the hordes of GOP Congresscritters that will be descending on the District of Corruption on Jan 3, 2011 have the spine to go after the zer0 corruption and weed it out. DO NOT THINK ABOUT RUNNING FOR OFFICE AGAIN IN 2012 - WE ARE SENDING YOU THERE TO DO A VERY SPECIFIC JOB - STOP THIS "TRANSFORMATION". It is going to be a tough slough but we expect results. Then we will consider House members second term.

Gonzales was lame but he would have done what he was told. However, that was toward the end of the Bush presidency and Bush had already buckled under to the left.

I don’t know why. We would have supported him, but he never gave us much to support.

And what happens when DOJ refuses to comply and raises privilege issues? Who will prosecute when the DOJ is the problem? We could be headed to a real constitutional crisis.

And what happens when DOJ refuses to comply and raises privilege issues?

Invoke Section 308...

...or Section 7.62.

Either one works.

You forgot Article 5.56, as defined under Section 7.62.

Are y’all as sure as I am that nothing will come of this? I don’t understand how the new media can sometimes triumph over the MSM (fake National Guard records, Van Jones, etc.) and at other times (like this story) the MSM is absolutely successful in keeping a story from coming to life. THIS story even has provocative video, the kind of video that ensures sleeping Americans pay attention.
