Reminder: El Rushbo makes a guest appearance tonight on Family Guy on Fox, 9/8c.
It conflicts with Stargate here.
I’ll sacrifice and watch it though!
Folks who defend / trash shows or movies without seeing them are
the worst kind of ignorant idiotic morons. I don’t want to be that.
not interested. entirely too vile for human consumption.
So Rush gives Brian a book and asks him to read it, Brian says he has only read things written about Rush and hates what he’s read.
On the way home, a multiracial gang beats Brian up, and Rush intercedes and kicks butt on the bullies.
Brian takes the book home and starts reading it. He puts it down after reading 4 pages which he promised Rush. Then he picks it up and continues reading until finally he says, “Wow, Rush was right all along”
I'm liking it!
They've animated Limbaugh quite well.. he looks friendly.
Not that I'm swayed by friendly looking animated characters...
Or Limbaugh..
Funniest show ever on Television. So what if Seth is a big lib. Sure he goes over the top sometimes, and some of the jokes are at times beyond tasteless. It is one of those shows like South Park that targets everybody, and I mean everybody. I do not mind at all if somebody makes fun of conservative icons and ideals, if they do it in a way that is actually funny...most of the drek on Air America, and people like Bill Maher think they are funny, but are most certainly not. During the Bush years, the late night comics tried to try Bush jokes, but were always simply vitriolic. Family guy made fun of Bush frequently, but I always thought it was funny, especially because they would always make fun of Clinton too (every time Clinton shows up on family guy, he is always naked). The Clinton Episode is still one of my favorites (Peter and Clinton in the Limo stoned out of their minds, looking at that farmers pig....”Dude, we can totally eat that pig”). Besides, I tend to find very un-PC humor very funny...for you family guy nay-sayers, who claim to be offended by everybody being offended, well there you go. Yeah, they make fun of religion a lot, and sometimes over the top, but I’m sure some of you claim you cannot understand the hub-bub over mohammed cartoons either.
I’m still watching, but I’m wondering what in the world is the plot. We have the characters and setting, but no problem and no development yet.
Is this an hour long?
>>>>It’s a fictional character on a cartoon. I cannot believe that people actually watch this.
Dittos. I can’t believe people watch WWF et al. wrestling either... but they do. Just as much fiction as animated cartoons.
Damn! Pelosi with a crack pipe in her mouth totally made this worth it....LOL.
And I gave up House for this.
The ending was okay.
Limbaugh has only written two books that I know of..
“The Way Things Ought To Be” which I have.. and another I can’t name.
“See, I Told You So”
Rush is lampooning Republicans much like he does himself “racistsexisthomophobe”
The ending, Rush goes running down the street, jumps into the air and turns into an eagle.
They show the credits over a waving American Flag and the song America the Beautiful.
Well.. it’s over now.
It was OK.. at least I got a shot of Limbaugh on a Sunday.
There’s always that I guess.
)SIGH) It was not funny. Liberals can’t mock themselves. South Park is better.
Coulda had a bit more 'giggety.'
And there was the Barney Frank lisp.
I didn't see it but I can guess what happened...the docs were stumped about some mystery disease for about 58 minutes then they figure it out and the patient lives. ;)
Hmmm, and here I though Hugh Laurie's best role was as the Prince Regent... LOL!
