One of the stranger stories weve ever read involving an assistant attorney general took a turn on Friday, when Michigans assistant attorney general, Andrew Shirvell, went on personal leave.
The move comes after weeks of intense public scrutiny of Shirvell, who attracted a lot of attention for his personal blog, which repeatedly rips the University of Michigans student president, Chris Armstrong, who is openly gay.

Nope, because either (1) it irks you sufficiently that I would continue to find much humor in your overwrought and blusterous reaction to it, or (2) it's true Sigh; if only I were a Libertarian apologist of the homosexual movement, it very well might be true. The next correspondence I expect to hear from you will be the necessary information that I'll need to book your airline flight out here so that you can tell me to my face what only a coward would say over the internet.
I anxiously await our meeting.

No. As with the last, the next correspondence will mock you, either for the truth in my insinuation about your NAMBLA proclivities or for the comical and oblivious way in which you have reacted to that insinuation, which is to say repeatedly asking me to arrange an in person meeting with you not unlike a NAMBLA member would do while preying on his next victim.
In either case, you look like a fool or worse.

Tell ya what. Since you keep insisting, how about I take you up on the airfare offer? I only have a few stipulations of my own:
Buy me a round trip ticket to wherever the hell you live from ANY city of your chosing in the United States or Canada that is, oh, let's say east of the Mississippi or a contiguous northward line from its mouth. It will need to be a two part flight though with a week's layover in a destination of my choosing, most likely in Central or South America, followed by a flight from that location to yours, and a return through that same location for a layover on my return. So do we have a deal?

I'm through with you conimbricenses. I have all the "ammunition" I need. Thanks for supplying it.
Defamation and Slander on the Internet
"As social networking sites and internet blogs continue to increase in both popularity and use, the opportunities for defamatory and libelous actions increase proportionally. Defamation, sometimes called "defamation of character", is spoken or written words that falsely and negatively reflect on a living person's reputation. Slander is generally spoken defamation, while 'libel' is written. Blogs or social networks in which defamatory statements are written or recorded present several potential sources of liability and recovery for the person whose character was defamed. In cases where the defamation is proved, damages are presumed and often enforced with liberality."
