I have not read that the off site recording has been released.

I suspect that it will not, until Costco is ordered to do so by a court.

There has been no testimony or other evidence at the inquest that such a recording exists. The plaintiff’s lawyer claimed that Costco had off-site backups (they probably do), but there’s no evidence that they have a real-time mirror of security videos (they probably don’t).
