Skip to comments.Officer in Costco shooting says man raised gun, didn’t know it was in holster

This comes from a Vegas paper, so I'll summarize:
Day 1 of the inquest into the police shooting of Eric Scott at a Las Vegas Costco emphasized the large amount of prescription painkillers found in his body. The assistant DA suggested Scott was suicidal.
Day 2 apparently spent a bunch of time explaining why there will be no video...basically, the machines weren't working, sorry.
Then the cop who was closest to Scott testified. In his testimony, he says the gun found by investigators was in its holster, and that he didn't realize the gun was in its holster when he shot Scott. That info comes about 2/3 of the way into the article:

I’m not. My hard drive is dying. Wish that I could!
The elder Scott is going to crucify them with his pen if they get away with this dog-and-pony show.
What is the word of the 'corporate' disk drives supposedly containing the images?
>Both of my brothers were cops, [snip] Advice from both....beware.
Anything specific; or just the general foresight/forewarning for civil-discord that is inevitable [and civil-war that is quite possible]?
>BTW, both of my brothers are Oath Keepers.
Good to hear.
I’m not a member, but I do take my oath seriously:
>Thank you, and if you need to escape such same persecution;
>”I move for a motion to dismiss in anticipation of subrosa subject matter jurisdictional discrepancy”.
Moving to dismiss because of secret/clandestine conversations on jurisdiction?
I certainly hope so. He has friends and influence. He’s just waiting for the sham show to be over.
I’d like to, but I don’t want to download MS Silverlight, whatever that is...I don’t like anything that automatically updates on my computer without asking me.
Lawyers do what they are paid to do. Right and wrong, law and order, no longer have anything to do with it. It’s who can spin the best and suppress info.
Silverlight is basically MS Flash.
Hubby won’t put it on our machines. I think he said it has spyware in it.
WTF is this?
Uh oh...I downloaded it, and now I can see the commercials, but the streaming is “unavailable”. Guess the same guys doing Costco’s video are working on the streaming...and they know who I am now.
Is that a cloud outside, or a helicopter?
So, based on this crap the answer is what? Sorry, made a mistake?
No freakin’ way.
