Reason being: there has never been a recorded case of female-to-male transmission of HIV from vaginal intercourse, in the absence of a pre-existing venerial disease or lesion.
Pretty much puts a stop to the chain.
If the same percentage of heterosexuals routinely had sex with hundreds of anonymous partners then one in five heterosexuals would have HIV too.
