Pretty good piece.

BTW, when someone we trust puts it on a blog, or here on FR, or gets onto live (nearly so) TV and says something that makes sense, we'll believe that way ahead of what "Chunks" McCain says in "Teen Love Stories" or wherever it is she's publishing these days.

Jus' the way it is.

Good article, truth be told...nothing will stop the Tea Party movement...it exists under it’s own power and will not be leashed, whipped, or bribed into submission.

They tend to think that Tea Partiers also include opinions on abortion, gay marriage, etc. on the basic platform. No. It’s about fiscal responsibility and “back to basics” governing.

The Tea Party(Caucus) is GROWING..........
Day by day, week by week, month by month..
What is today is smaller than it will be tomorrow..
By November who knows?.. By 2012 it will be even BIGGER...

The money quote:

Right now, the Tea Party movement is primarily benefiting the Republican Party. Yet, what you find if you talk to Tea Partiers is that if you're a Republican in D.C. and your name isn't Jim DeMint or Michele Bachmann, the Tea Party movement probably doesn't like you very much and they definitely don't trust you.

This point is something that they just . . .don't . . .get. We do not TRUST you anymore! And being from Missouri, ya gotta Show Me before I'll trust you.

‘These Tea Partiers don’t believe in compromise!’

I don’t believe in Compromise with the left. Every time conservatives compromise with the left, they end having to fight the same battle all over again.

I ,for one, do not like having to pay for the same real estate twice.

” These Tea Partiers don’t believe in compromise! “

When it comes to basic Principles (remember those?), you’re damned right we don’t believe in compromise!!

For too many years, we’ve watched our ‘representatives’ trade away - if not cravenly abandon - their (and our) Principles in the name of ‘compromise’ and ‘political expediency’...

“Those Tea Partier’s just don't want to compromise”

The author is correct, I'm in no mood to “compromise” or , “work with”. We want to win and crush the opposition. Compromise is a win for them every time.....
