Panicked GOP Leaders Have Lost Control of the Party
ConservativeHQ.com ^ | September 15, 2010 | Richard Viguerie

GOP leaders -- Mitch McConnell, John Cornyn, John Boehner, Karl Rove and others -- as well as establishment Republicans have no idea how livid Americans are with them.

Republican leaders are in a panic because they have lost control of the Republican Party.

Grassroots constitutional conservatives are inside the Citadel, and are poised to take over.

All across the country -- in the Northeast, the South, the West -- Americans feel betrayed by Republican politicians. Last night’s election results show that the grassroots anger is directed at more than just the Obama-Reid-Pelosi Democrats.

Christine O’Donnell’s inspiring upset in Delaware, Ovide Lamontagne’s populist and improbable surge in New Hampshire, Carl Paladino’s trouncing of Rick Lazio in New York -- and previous primary wins by Sharron Angle, Ken Buck, Joe Miller, etc. -- all have been the result of the grassroots uprising against big government and the ‘ruling class,’ and in spite of the GOP establishment.

Never before in American history has a movement made such momentous change in such a short period of time.

As Reagan said in 1976, Americans want new leaders unfettered by old ties and old relationships.

The symbolically stupid decision last night by the National Republican Senatorial Committee not to fund Christine O’Donnell’s general election campaign, which it reversed this morning only after a massive grassroots uproar, and Karl Rove’s meltdown on Fox’s Hannity show will only fuel further primary challenges to GOP political leaders.

Current GOP leaders not ‘retired’ in 2010, will be in 2012 and 2014, and can join their former colleagues, such as Trent Lott, on the K Street lobbying circuit. And, they should get used to saying, ‘Majority Leader DeMint.’

They definitely lost Limbaugh. He is now officially a lose cannon. That should make them run around like their hair is on fire.

Go form your own RINO party, RINOs.

The GOP belongs to the Tea Party now.

Better yet, shed the facade and become a democrat. There’s no difference anyway.

GOP Leaders should NEVER have been allowed to think they had conrol of the party. The RNC is simply an administrative arm of the individual Republican voters - that’s it.

When they think we have to follow their lead - that’s the thinking that creates a revolution.

I had said many times that Bush (with help from the Congressional high spending Republicans) ruined the Republican brand....

I guess the people are taking the party back.

Yup.

And there's a damned good reason for that, too.

My email to my Senator John Cornyn:
Just for the record...your choice in candidates to support shows a lot of room for improvement. In case you don’t already know it your support for reelection is diminishing. I have gone from enthusiastic to pretty angry over the years and would entertain supporting some one else. I won’t conservatives elected...not necessarily republicans!!!

. . . they should get used to saying, ‘Majority Leader DeMint.’

Damn, I like the sound of that. However, I would be just as happy with either of the Senators from Oklahoma or Jeff Sessions of Nevada.

I can’t think of a more pleasing thread title.

Time for the losers to get out of the way.

No more "go-along-to-get-along" RINOs!

The corrupt MSM HATES YOU no matter what you say or do (unless you tread on a Conservative). STOP trying to be the nice guy that the NYTimes loves.

The Republic is at stake here. Why can you not grasp this? If Washington cocktail parties are more important to you then GO HOME!

These RINOs thought we were going to take direction from them. LMAO.

Game over. This is just the start. They have no idea.

Any RINO up for re-election in ‘12 is panicking. Watch them move to the right. Quick.

“””GOP leaders — Mitch McConnell, John Cornyn, John Boehner, Karl Rove and others — as well as establishment Republicans have no idea how livid Americans are with them”””

_____

If this is the case regarding Republicans, then give some thought to how livid Americans are against DEMOCRATS!!!!!!

Nov 2 could be a blowout of Biblical proportions.
