Rove was very pissed off. For some reason he thinks Castle would be an asset in the Senate...maybe like Collins and Snowe, Lindsey Dipshit and McCain. Real stalwart republicans.

I don't see that Rove's remarks were all that inflammatory. When you watch the entire interview, Rove was describing the context with other recent upsets, and rightly contrasting O'Donnell's win as a pointed rejection of Castle's voting record.

True, it's not "rah rah O'Donnell," but it wasn't Kool-Aid.

I liked knowing that our country’s national security was important to our president.

Most folks forgave Reagan for spending more than the treasury took in so the US military could be rebuilt but seem unwilling to forgive President Bush for allow the dems to spend spend spend so he could get the money to prosecute the war on terror.

I felt safer with Dubya in the White House than I do now.

I was stunned as well. In fact, shocked. After I picked my jaw up off the floor, the anger set in. I’m still livid! Proof that neither party cares about we, the people. All they care about is their selfish selves and their inner circles. It’s all about them.

Yep, I get so tired of listening to the "experts" try to fit the approaching political tidal wave into their tired, cynical boxes of conventional political thinking. They don't get it at all.

I predict that within pretty short order they will be stunned to find that O'Donnell begins to poll very competitively against her opponent, and will be speechless when she goes on to win. Just look at Sharron Angle for a point of reference. I think what they are missing is that if the conservative candidate is even reasonably close in the polls, the tremendous enthusiasm advantage we have going for us will result in them actually winning, and by a comfortable margin. It's one thing to answer a phone poll, it's another thing entirely to actually get out and vote. Democrats are lazy by nature and are currently completely demoralized, or at best apathetic while our side will crawl over the proverbial broken glass to set the country back on its proper course. We know that this is literally life and death and will be voting like it.

Rove and the other disappointments within the RNC had better prepare for a lot more surprises in the days to come. The sweetest thing will be when they try to jump on the inevitable victory train, and we get to say, "Who did you say you were again?"

Rove has been a cancer on the GOP for 10 years now. His minions in California have been an utter disaster, both for the state and the country.

Rove’s minions have shown themselves completely incapable of developing a plan to respond to the economic situation that has been brewing in this country since about 2005. They’re one-note-johnny hacks and ratchet-jawed dispensers of monkey doodle posing as public policy.
