Washington (CNN) - Republican Brian Murphy is heading into Tuesday's GOP gubernatorial primary in Maryland with a last minute robocall from conservative star Sarah Palin.

Just hours earlier, Sen. John McCain – Palin's former presidential running mate – had announced his support for Murphy's primary opponent, former Gov. Robert Ehrlich in an interview with the AP, saying Ehrlich is "a fine guy."

Now that the Arizona primaries are over, will Palin finally make a clean break from RINO McNuts?

You have MORE than paid your debt, Sarah Palin. Time to get out there on your own! (If you stick with McLettuce, you will be MORE than a loser!)

We should all laugh our a$$es off if Brian Murphy wins. I hope that it’s all over between Palin and McCain. She’s been nice to him for far too long.

Forgetting the primary, thinking of six more years of this dreg in the senate.

And his fat daughter.

I think McCain will dump Sarah and almost shun her from here on out. It'll be interesting to see how he reacts if she enters the Republican presidential primary next year. He just used her when he was afraid of a conservative challenger.

If there is a President Palin , there will be a Senator John Mccain reaching across to his good friends the democrats during her Presidency. The same pain in the a$$ that he was for Bush. She can thank herself because his primary victory would not have been possible if not for her endorsment.

Actually, I was hoping people would quit obsessing on it.

She has been campaigning for him with every public appearance. I hate hearing it - as ‘her debt’ is paid in full, IMHO.

No surprise that McCain wants to increase his gang of brigands to undermine the rest of the Rs.

Oh, come on. McCain would have won even if Palin had endorsed Hayworth.

I personally hope that McCain loses. It is the only way we will get rid of him.

I can actually see Juan doing “robocalls” for Dingy Harry before this is all over. McCain loves to “reach across the aisle”.

If there’s a President Palin....she will pull him to be Sec. of Defense or State.....then all of you guys will be happy that he’s put out of the senate

Sure, the Gop candidate for President in 2008 was going to lose his reelection to the Senate seat that he had held for years in a state where he is always heavily favored and which the real life primary result proved again.

Maybe DeMint endorsing Hayworth would have managed to close the huge gap, but of course it wouldn’t have.

I don’t see McLame and Palin connected other than the AZ endorsement. She has been running the table on his wrinklie ass this whole cycle. If I were to bet I would say McLame wants GOP party hack Castle to win in DE just to secure he gets another crack a leadership position before he checks out. Obviously Palin wants a different outcome.
