WASHINGTON (AP) -- The White House said Tuesday that a Florida church's threat to burn copies of the Muslim holy book could endanger U.S. troops abroad, while the State Department denounced the plan as "un-American" and said it would put American diplomats and travelers at risk.
White House spokesman Robert Gibbs noted the U.S. commander in Afghanistan, Gen. David Petraeus, has warned that images of a burning Quran would be used by extremists to incite violence.

I thought limited ROE was endangering the troops.
I have to admit actually burning it would be rather extreme.
What I find interesting are all the responses. How can our guys be in any more danger considering the “Rules of Engagement”.

I do think it is an unChristian act, BUT I do not consider that church Christian anyway. They have a right to do what they do and it will not make that irrational group any more rabid than they already are. Such Bull cr*p.

The U.S. Government is, through its administrative bureaucracy, representing a President whose qualifications for office are questionable, and whose overt actions have manifestly demonstrated his accomodation towards an enemy of America and of western civilization, is seeking to restrict the free expression of political and religious opinion regarding that enemy by American citizens on American soil.
Obama and his henchwoman Hillary Clinton are once again demonstrating their contempt for the Consitution and hostility towards America and Americans.
Obama and Hillary’s statements with regards to potential reaction by the fanatical enemy we are facing overseas and here in America, are, IN THEMSELVES, an invitation to these fanatics to react in the fashion those two enemies of their own people are stating.
Obama needs to be impeached.
