do you think the republicans running for office this fall wouldn’t have seized upon it and made it the centerpiece of their argument for repeal? This tax would push some people’s tax liability through the roof.

I think you give the current crop of Republicans waaaaayy too much credit.

Geez, did you even read the article you posted ? Look at the comments. The author owned up to “standing corrected”, and then she went on with further semantic double speak with waffle words like “seems”, and other BS.

Call it a potential harbinger if you will, fine.

But it ain’t true.

All of this could be avoided/thrown out if judges and the SCOTUS would stop aiding and abeting treason in order to keep this Marxist president in office.

“I don’t accept that it will not be taxed as income and is placed on the W2 just for information purposes”

There IS going to be a tax on high-cost health plans starting in 2018, but that tax will be levied on insurance companies, not individuals. http://www.healthcare.gov/center/authorities/section1401_highcostplan.pdf

Of course, like all the other taxes imposed by Obamacare (on insurance companies, medical device companies, pharmaceutical companies), these taxes all ultimately will be passed onto consumers. That way, the sheeple don’t recognize them as taxes and direct their anger at higher costs onto “greedy” for-profit companies in the health sector.

YOU look at the comments. The author owned up to "standing partially corrected".

“...as the value of the employer contribution to health coverage continues to be excludible from an employee’s income and it is not taxable.”

...for now. This is just a way to “ease into it” and get the payroll/taxing systems modified.

I was notified late last week that, because of ObamaCare, our family doctor is retiring and closing his practice. So, we’re feeling the bite already.
