Yes, he did.
I challenge any American who watched any of
his interviews to not admit what a humble,
honest, compassionate, righteous and devoted
patriot he is ..and of such good will and
humor.
Only the most jaded and partisan will not know
how very blessed we were to have this man of
the highest integrity and devotion to duty in
the White House every single day he was there.
The great thing, also, is how many lies and
myths he handily tore up. It’s been a fabulous
week, and the high percentage of the immense
coverage has been really positive. I think
reasonable folks will realize what we all know:
he was a courageous, amazingly human and
extraordinary President.
It’s been brilliant (though it would’ve always
been just his way) to stay out of the limelight
until now .. because this fresh focus has reminded
folks of what a good man and strong leader he was.
His devotion to protecting us stands out even more
in contrast to today. But we all always knew that.
And folks have gradually awakened to the frightening
reality that we just don’t have that now, and Lord ..
protect us.
Every day, the contrast grows starker and clearer
between his time and the present.
And I know every day, especially seeing him
repeatedly this week and getting so filled
with pride anew .. I and we miss him more.
Hope your trip to see him is wonderful ..
can’t wait to hear about it. And I hope
you remember to tell him the Dosers love
him and miss him so much.
I agree with it wholeheartedly--but you wrote it moare articulately than I could have. Many blessings on our dear President and Mrs. Bush.
