Yes, but my niece is a beautiful, young woman, who has had a child without being married, and no one asked her to be on the show....it isn’t about the baby; as most people understand it is about embarrassing the Republican party, and making McCain look like a putz for ever picking Sarah as his running mate.

Sarah doesn’t help matters when she quits the job that would actually give her experience and validation and becomes one of many side show freaks on TLC, then invites the tabloid queen; Kate Gosselin on the show! No one can take this family or the party that supports them seriously!

Their political views hold as much weight as the Gosselin family.

You are not getting it. Palin as governor was politically cornered. Much of her success as governor was owing to the help she got from the Democrats who also opposed the Republican old guard. That went away when she was put on the Republican ticket. Then comes the national Democratic party with a push to squash her and of course the Murkowski crowd with an eye to revenge. Palin, however, knew from the response she got that she had a constituency in the lower 48. She didn’t know how big it was until the book tour. Then came the Tea party movement, for which she is the perfect match as a politician. She is riding a wave. Can’t see how far that will take her until we see what happens in November.
