Not sure how I feel about this....

Why should you "feel" anything "about this"? It is none of your, or anyone else's, business.

Atleast she's not blogging for the left living off of her daddie's failed run for the Presidency.

No, she's making a living off her mommy's failed run for the vice-presidency.

This is not helpful if you are a Palin supporter. Maybe the younger generations see nothing wrong with an unwed, single mother dancing on television, but some of us old farts have problems with this. With 60 percent of the voters in this country believing that Palin is unqualified to be POTUS, this does nothing to help correct such a view. Remember, old people vote.

Is she going to try trade on celebrity the rest of her life? I am reminded of Ronald Reagan’s children.

Kurt Warner is one of my personal heroes!

I wish him and his family all the best.

Being from St. Louis we are proud of two of the most famous Christian sports figures EVER Kurt Warner and Albert Pujois!

The are true role models who worked hard for their achievements and give back to the community.

Something Bristol Palin doesn't have a clue about!

Yes, but my niece is a beautiful, young woman, who has had a child without being married, and no one asked her to be on the show....it isn’t about the baby; as most people understand it is about embarrassing the Republican party, and making McCain look like a putz for ever picking Sarah as his running mate.

Sarah doesn’t help matters when she quits the job that would actually give her experience and validation and becomes one of many side show freaks on TLC, then invites the tabloid queen; Kate Gosselin on the show! No one can take this family or the party that supports them seriously!

Their political views hold as much weight as the Gosselin family.

If she makes it to the viewer voting portion of the competition, my wife and I plan on calling in for her. The longer she is in the competition, the longer the mouth-foaming libtards will be having conniption fits.

Not true. She is trading on the fact that her mother is the hottest thing in politics right now.

I was thinking it might class her up a little. Couldn’t hurt.

“It is none of your, or anyone else’s, business.”

Um... She’s the one going on a TV show... A show where her success is based on viewers voting for her...

Furthermore, her appearance on such show can possibly have an impact on the Nov. elections... that makes it most definitely my business...

Some of the "rocket scientists" on this thread seem to have forgotten that THEY asked HER to be on the show.

And why did they do that? Because of her talent? Because of her accomplishments? Because of her contributions in other areas? They chose her for one reason; because a certain number of people will watch just to point fingers and stare at her. She's the reality TV equivilent of a circus side-show act.

Now that Bristol has declared herself a “celebrity”; and since she is an adult now...she is fair game. She can now be picked apart by everyone and it is entirely “fair”.

Silly, silly girl. Doesn’t she realise that her own reasoning skills are lacking? Can’t she see that she doesn’t make good choices?

LOL the jokes that come to mind, such as can the girl even write? Instead she lives of mommies failed run for veep. Double standards are so unbecoming.

Not true. She is trading on the fact that her mother is the hottest thing in politics right now.

She's living off her mother, not off her own non-existent talents or abilities. If Sarah Palin wasn't who she was then Bristol would get no closer to "Us" magazine or "Dancing With The Stars" than the TV in some trailer back in Wasilla.

I look forward to seeing Warner and also Jennifer Grey. “Dirty Dancing” with Patrick Swayze was my fav movie from the 80s, so she’s got a little head start with the dancing.

If Mark Ballas is her partner, she will be great! He is one of the very best, cutest and most fun male dancers. Sexy too but fun and cute as well. She is lucky.

I actually love this. I really do.

While Levi is relegated to some publicity stunt on some unwatched cable reality show where he’ll be mocked and made a fool, Bristol Palin will be on a major network competing on a professional dance show in front of millions of people.

She will have the opportunity to show her maturity; and with every week she is able to stay on the show, she will show herself to be an elegant, polite woman who has come a long way in her short life.

Her grace will reflect well on herself and her family, and the contrast with Levi making an ass of himself will make the Palins very sympathetic figures. This sympathy will grow as the left goes berzerk trying to smear and destroy Bristol as part of some petty vendetta. They will be unable to resist their over-the-top, vicious smears, and they will look small to everyone outside of their echo chamber.

Meanwhile, Bristol will look like a well-rounded young lady.

I love this, I really do. DWTS has rehabbed many images, even Kelly Osborne. She will look beautiful, be the object of desire for men across America, and will be a real person defining herself to the world every week instead of an entity nobody really knows who is at the mercy of the tabloids.

The folks who want this to hurt Sarah Palin are going to have egg on their faces. This is a great move for Bristol, and I am excited for this to play out. I only hope she is able to stick around, because the left will be organizing for her demise.

Being the child of a famous person is indeed an elevation to celebrity status, which is heady stuff. It has lured many many to a rather debauched way of life.

Bristol is so young her judgment is not wise. It is a learning we all had to do. We all made mistakes, some bigger than others, so pray for her and wish her well. I do. Sarah too.
