If we had any idea how much this guy, and even our own guys have cost our communities...

When the trade with China was causing about 3/4ths of a trillion dollars in trade deficits each year (or at least at that pace for a while), I used to think about what that meant to our communities.

When you start dividing $750 billion by a few thousand communities, you still come up with a very large sum. When you think about the multiplier effect on those sums, it’s even more impactful.

Still, people don’t give a rats hind end about it.

It occurs to me that Agent Orange burns. I suggest around the clock application of Napalm to the area, preferably from the air so as not to endanger the clean up crews.

If you consider that the population of the United States is approximately 300,000,000 and you divide $750,000,000,000 by that number, you will find that our trade deficit with China is $2,500 for every man, woman, and child in the United States...each year!

What would our economy be like if we had that money, or even a significant percentage, here in the US instead of China?
