As I understand it, “til death do you part” is the most traditional.

Seems B’s wasn’t.

Admittedly, neither was my first.

Tell them you’d be more than happy to get rid of “no-fault” divorce laws that make it so easy to get out of a marriage. Tell them you would not mind laws making adultery a civil offense again.

After all, what groups and kinds of people lobbied for relaxing divorce laws and decriminalizing adulterous behavior (weakening marriage) in the first place? Feminists, free love folks, open marriage folks. Being in favor of no fault divorce laws is a liberal viewpoint. Always has been.

Look at the types of people who take advantage of it, people who should never have married in the first place and would not have if they couldn’t get out of it (ie Britney). Any example like that falls into this category.
