Yeah, but that's Bloomberg the billionaire. He can completely separate that Bloomberg from the Bloomberg that's Mayor of New York City. This talant for separation is one of the things that makes him different from an ordinary person like you or me. The sooner we all understand this, the sooner we can move forward.

Bloomberg the Mayor may, at times, seem like a bit of a naive dummy, like when he assigns 150 cops to act as his Smoking Police.
But he’s no dummy. Bloomberg the businessman has always been absolutely ruthless, and highly successful at it.
