If you assume a 50% turnout, they’re not even 1/2 way to completing the count.
Turnout is probably more like around 30% I would guess based on the other reports.
Just saw your post.
They are currently reporting a mix of absentee and polling place.
I can’t tell if it is all of the absentee or just a portion.
Thousands of votes in that last update and the margin expanded.
Santa Cruz and Graham counties are shown as being complete (all votes counted). (per the county map)
KELLY, JESSE 49.76% 28,495 MILLER, BRIAN 8.14% 4,661 PATON, JONATHAN 39.63% 22,694 QUICK, JAY 2.21% 1,267 Write-in 0.26% 151 57,268
Gov. Palin would not have been able to defend the position that she supported him to be President of the United States, but not the Senator from Arizona. You can not ask her to take a position she can’t defend.
She will also benefit from maintaining the relationship as POTUS in 2013. We’ll have to wait and see if a barracuda can corral a RINO.

Another one is that Ruth McClung appears to have won AZ-7 by about 51%. She is the one who will go up against Raul Grijalva - the communist congressman who suggested that conventions, etc. should boycott AZ. She is young and I had reservations about her in the beginning, but she has grown a lot. I believe that she is an engineer.
She’s a rocket scientist. I’m so glad to hear that she is winning.

Tell me about it. I think the 50k+ votes cast in the repub primary is about it. there is not alot more out.
Facebook postings indicate he was apparently projected the winner as people are posting congratulatory messages...the front page of his website has been changed to a general screen indicating they are transitioning it for a general election campaign.
Arizona would be a nice place to campaign in Nov.

I just made this animation today. I was looking for an excuse to post it and what do you know? The excuse even pinged me!
Did you see the U.S. Senate figures for the Democrat candidates?
Democrat U.S. Senate candidates total = 221,879
Republican U.S. Senate candidates total = 443,142
I think Arizona is going to have a Republican senator and reelect Senator John McCain.
It looks like McCain won this one by a landslide.
