This wouldn’t happen under Reagan....

Under Reagan, the North Koreans attempted to assassinate the South Korean president in Burma, setting off a bomb that killed 17 South Koreans, including the presidential Chief of Staff, attempted to organize another attempt in Canada (broken up by Canadian police), set off a bomb at the Seoul airport, killing five, abducted the 12-man crew of a South Korean fishing boat, and blew up a Korean Air 707 in midair, killing 115 people.

And let's not forget the capture of a U.S. Navy intelligence vessel in international waters. Now if that didn't pull the trigger I don't know what will. Why they didn't scramble jets out of Japan and blast them to kingdom come on that one is beyond me.
