Heartbreaking post.
The author makes several good points regarding the requirements to reenter America after his trip to Italy in contrast with the “security” of our Mexican border.
I, however, would never have forgiven his daughter’s murderer. In fact, I don’t.

I have lost relatives to murder and I was asked about “forgiveness”. I tell anyone stupid enough to utter that phrase to me the same thing. “I am not in the forgiveness business. You want forgiveness, then talk to God. That is his business, not mine”. Shuts them up real good.
