I knew a reporter almost 20 years ago and he told me that he was directed not to write above an 8th grade level. Wonder how far down on grade level they are now.

I knew a reporter almost 20 years ago and he told me that he was directed not to write above an 8th grade level. Wonder how far down on grade level they are now.Actually, they're up to 10th grade level now. Unfortunately, 10th grade level is what 4th grade level used to be.
