In the 1980’s an Arab ‘slime bought a house in Beverly Hills.He offended the neighborhood constantly with nude statues in the yard and other things. One day while he was away on vacation, his house mysteriously burned to the ground. After that he never came back.

I remember that house well. It was right on Sunset Boulevard, just west of the 405 freeway.

It wasn't just the weird statues in the front yard. The guy was making all sorts of other strange "improvements" to the house that were simply bizarre for the area. Pissed off a lot of folks, and was a complete eyesore. Used to irk me every time I passed it.

One day I was passing by, and noticed the burn residue on the house. Soon after, a chain link fence went up all around it, and it sat like that for a long time, until someone bought it and brought it back to normal.
