So far, Barack Obama has publicly rejected everything even remotely traditional to American culture. Muslims live here, but Islam has never “always been a part of America”. NOTHING Islamic is contained within either the Bill of Rights, Declaration of Independence, or the Constitution. The United States of America is a FREE nation of FREE people: free to CHOOSE our religion or reject religion, free to determine our own destiny, free and equal regardless of whether we are male or female, Christian or Jew.
NO Islamic nation on the face of God’s green earth offers that kind of “diversity: or “tolerance”. We will tolerate Islam here, we will never submit to it.
Not me. His former "Christian" church was anything but and his former mentor and preacher was as problematic as alwaki.
IT used to be the being a civil servant meant doing ones duty and moving on. George Washington could have been the most powerful man in the world, but stepped down.
TErm limits. We need term limits. IT would get rid of what you talk about. It would get rid of the pork in these rediculous bills that are passed. It would get rid of the career politician.
Rangel is the perfect example. He’s not leaving...and you watch he’s running again.
The last ten years for sure has taught me that our elected officials, all of them, are misguided, illiterate on issues, and totally at odds with the people. We saw this at its worst this year with the passage of bills that no one knows their content.
BINGO.
"Civil servants" love that term--it makes them seem noble, like it's some sacrifice to have a job with rock-solid security and incredible benfits.
So where's the "service" part? These are the same people who are always whining about how "selfish" everyone else is, and they've got the jobs most people would kill for.
Politico is now trying cover for Obama..with a White House official saying that Obama’s remark was off the cuff.

I think it’s hilarious how this guy is supposed to be some genius, and yet EVERY DAMN TIME he speaks without a telprompter he gets in trouble.
