Megyn Kelly Asks Guests: Should Sarah Palin Actually ‘Butt Out’ Of Primaries?
Mediaite ^ | 8/12/10 | staff

Is the Sarah Palin backlash beginning? Unlikely, but this remark from Rep. Jack Kingston on “America’s Morning News” radio show this morning is further evidence that the GOP is far from united behind the former Gov. of Alaska. Kingston told the hosts that he wished Palin would “butt out of primary races” because “what she is doing is dividing the Republican party at a time when we don’t need to be divided.”

Of course, one might argue it’s that very division that Palin has used to her best advantage. Or that she has done a good job creating the perception she has this influence by picking strong candidates. Either way, she’s getting credit for both. Meanwhile, Kingston also wondered why Palin “felt compelled to get into primaries all over the country” though I think the answer to that is obvious: where else could she wield her Facebook power? Kingston’s remarks come on the heels of Tuesday’s primary in which the Georgia candidate Palin backed lost (that said her batting average was pretty impressive).

Yes, because only the left and rinos should be able to express an opinion.

She’s not splitting the party - she’s identifying the RINOs so the herd can be culled.

Hear that roaring? Those are the conservatives who are sick of the RINOs.

Tell THEM to butt out! LOL!

So I read teh article linked, and Kingston is the one experssing the option - I didnt see anywhere that Megyn had asked that question.

However, like you, I am more than happy for any opportunity for a Megyn picture - she is definitely more attractive than Rep Kingston!

Sarah Palin is doing a fine job in cleaning up the Republican party, and she’ll probably clean some broken Republican clocks in the 2012 presidential primaries.

I have been catching her afternoon show and SHE SHOULD HAVE HER OWN SHOW TO COMPETE WITH “THE VIEW” - IT WAS AMAZING!!

There were 3 girls just talking daily news and politics (ok, LADIES- and I do mean that it the most respectful term possible) and they were brilliant, funny, and I had such a good time listening! it was just plain fun!

They were talking just they were sitting at a party in your livign room- so casual and enjoyable- I could easily see them beating the pants off those shrill harpies on the other show.

Those EXACT 3 LADIES should have a show!!!

Does Gov. Palin ever endorse a candidate without first being asked by the candidate?

Or at least first discussing a possible endorsement with the candidate?

Does anyone know ?

In some ways I wish it was the gop not the dems who would get utterly destroyed in November. The gop are a bunch of go-alongs when that is a dangerous thing right now. No spines, no guts, only coming around to the tea party when even the media had to start admitting the tea party was effective.

FU*& the Gop,

Palin 2012.

Gotta get Obimination out in 2012, and Sarah is the only one who can do it.

Kingston is a phony.

I’d have to check to be sure, but I’m almost certain that both Romney & Huckabee also endorsed candidates in that race. Newt can get a pass, as that is his home state.

I also seem to remember Kingston being a Romneybot.

She’s culling the RINO herd. Doing the job the GOP “leadership” refuses to to do.

What idiot thought that the whole Republican Party was lined up behind anyone? That good ol’ boy from South Carolina sure was mad at Governor Palin for getting Nikki Haley the nomination despite all the work they went to to smear her. Hell, he even tried to accuse her of not paying taxes on that show. Surpised he didn’t call her a Maccacca or sand n****r or raghead...

Thank god the establishment types like Kingston are looking out for grass root conservative rubes like us. Sarah speaks to the country more effectively than this professional loser any day. More Megyn pics please. She’s dreamy.

From what I understand every candidate she endorses has ASKED for her endorsement. If they don’t ask for it, she won’t give it. Of course she should not butt out of races, she has every right to endorse whoever she darn well pleases.
Now I know some here don’t approve of every candidate she endorses, which is everyone’s right, just like it is Sarah Palin’s right to endorse someone. Kingston didn’t have any issue with Huckabee or Romney or Newt endorsing candidates even though they don’t live in that state. Oh gee I wonder why
