Why did they not go to our own Gulf region? Tourism is hurting there and the example of a First Family visit would have been a shot in the arm. These people miss no opportunity to favor the interests of foreigners over those of Americans. Obama’s freeze on offshore oil production was yet another body blow to the area's economy. The least he could have done was to make a gesture. He just doesn't care.
