Maybe, maybe not. But the fact of the matter is that Sarah Palin is not. Let's face it - she quit her position as the governour of Alaska because of how mean the media was to her and her family. Well guess what, lady? The media is full of mean people. Politics is full of mean people. The world is full of mean people. If she can't hack it, she needs to go back to whatever she was doing before she became mayor of Wasilla, AK.
I agree - the woman gives a good speech. I should know, I've seen her live in action. She knows all the right words to say, and she does have a knack for picking the winners in primary elections. But those are not leadership traits.
Good grief you are dense.
She's been the leading conservatve coming against the dem agenda ever since her book came out.
I guess that's not leadership either.........
*rolls eyes*
And give it up on the quitting stuff, if she didn't do what she said she was going to do, which was take another direction to make a conservative agenda succeed, then you could say she quit. She didn't go hide like you imply, she moved ahead with her hope to undo Obamism and further a conservative agenda.
She's right there in front, but then you wouldn't notice.
You are thus labeled....a sexist.
Great..we have that pinned down.
BTW...I'm not a sexist, and I am a male..and think that there certainly are women that could be the POTUS. By your very words....you think it's a "maybe, maybe not"..That seals it.
Thanks--we know where you stand.
That's a bogus, discredited meme.
FReepers are supposed to be legendary at sniffing out the BS and getting the facts, except of course, when Governor Palin is the topic.
Per your post, Palin gives great speeches, has good political insight in being able to pick the winners of elections, but you say that those aren’t leadership traits?
Giving poor speeches and having poor political insight is better for political leadership?
What you said doesn’t make sense.
Barry did the same thing, . . . Oh . . . wait . . .
Top your observations with her having lead winning teams on the court, PTA, as Major, Governor and now at the top of the heap in contention for the presidency.
Moving on from Governor to the national stage and taking down the liberal leaders rather than liberal flunkies in Alaska marks her as the one to beat, And no one is even close.
I also like the video of her playing the flute. She's all class and ahead of schedule. Live with it.
If you don't know why she resigned, which is apparent by the content of your Post. look it up and get back to us.
There is nor reason to make things up just because you disapprove of Governor Palin.
When she passed the position to the LT Governor she displayed more testicular fortitude than any dozen recent politicions.
Cincinnatus was a very Honorable man. Is your choice of the name an attempt to masquerade as something you are not.
Tinnitus Quix Cheerios:
In response to #36, Palin didn’t resign just because of the media. She resigned after the election in response to a fraud investigation which hindered her ability to function in full capacity as the governor, and did in it in order that Alaskan taxpayers wouldn’t be paying for her to go to work every day and defend herself.
The anti- Sarah Palin people do not give her the credit due her. She may lack the political jargon, but she has much experience as a governor and an executive. She did not make governor on strictly her good looks. She does have a college education. She prefers to speak plainly so that all the folks understand her. Her jokes are taken as fact. If some of you can’t recognize a joke, that says something about your lack of a sense of humor. She is a great woman. America can be proud of her. If all goes well, she will be a great president.
