And maybe, just maybe, she did exactly that in the 24 years since - so why not report on it that way?

Because it shows that racism at the NAACP is systemic.

Leftists have been trouncing conservatives for decades. Steadily pushing back the boundaries of our culture. Conservatives haven’t changed tactics and somehow expect different results.

NAACP is a leftist, criminal and subversive organization using race to attack America.

Two simple rejoinders:

(1) She didn't, ergo, nothing to report, and (2) If she did, then she shouldn't have a lick of trouble proving it, should she? That she hasn't, considering that she was summarily fired for the offense, implies that she can't.

It's high time we started to realize that we aren't playing with nice people; that politics is not some genteel high-school debate club from yesteryear, and Robert's Rules of Order and the Marquess of Queensberry rules do not apply.
