HECTOR MALDONADO FOR US SENATE IN MISSOURI--YOUR PAPERS PLEASE!
July 13, 2010 | jd

Posted on 07/13/2010 7:49:40 AM PDT by jdirt

This year’s mid-term election will certainly be exciting as the conservative movement has put forth more genuine candidates than ever before. Washington DC needs new representatives that will really uphold the Constitution. People from all over this great nation have been coming forward to run for Congress and rid that place of the corruption and deal making that has become business as usual there for decades.

One of these individuals is Hector Maldonado in MO. He treasures our freedom and is concerned with the way our country is going. As a first responder on 9/11/01, he witnessed the unthinkable and stepped up to bring our citizens home to their families. An Iraq and Afghanistan War Veteran, Mr. Maldonado, fought to keep us safe from foreign enemies. Now he has set his sites on the US Senate to uphold the second part of the oath that he took-- to protect us from domestic enemies. Mr. Maldonado believes in conservative values and wants to bring this country back to we the people.

Unfortunately the left has been doing everything they can to destroy this country’s sovereignty and freedom. The legal battle against the AZ Law has begun. AG Holder has insisted that the AZ Law would lead to racial profiling even though it is specifically prohibited in the law. He is so very concerned that American citizens might be discriminated against yet he completely ignores that one of his own attorneys had to quit his job so that he could testify that the Dept of Justice has absolutely no interest in prosecuting a blatant voter intimidation violation because the victims were white. What is going on with our country’s leaders? Is there some legal nuance that non-lawyers just don’t understand?

There is an old saying, people accuse others of doing what they themselves would do. Given that, we should not be surprised when the Secretary of State in MO, Ms. Robin Carnahan (D), required Mexican born, Mr. Maldonado, to provide proof of US citizenship to run for office. He received the certified letter below, from her office stating that it was “part of candidate verification process.”. Apparently none of the other candidates were required to show proof of citizenship. Ms. Robin Carnahan is also running for the Senate seat. President Obama visited Missouri on July 8, 2010 to campaign for her.

Oh the irony of it all…

Will AG Holder prosecute this case of racial profiling? Why are the Obots shooting down Mr. Maldonado’s explanation of the events without even an attempt to look into it? Where is the media on this story? FOX News where are you? Journalism is no more.

The Missouri primary is Aug. 3, 2010. Honor a fallen soldier and go vote in the primary.

FR does not allow embedding. It's a restriction in the software.

In any case, since MO has not enacted any kind of "immigration" law lately, I would suspect the DOJ will not even glance at this.

Thanks, jd, for the post. Sounds like a true conservative.

Is there ANY way we can get a Show Me Barf Alert anytime a Carnahan's name is mentioned. My blood pressure spikes whenever I see that name!

Yeah, but this is a Scrib post using Flash. I think he knows it was not an “img” and wanted the Scrib post embedded.

It appears that you are attempting to bamboozle FR readers and subvert my nom-de-plume in the process. “jdirt”? When you chose that moniker, you effectively announced to your audience that any forthcoming work product was suspect. You claim to have a letter that “proves” charges lodged by Hector Maldonado against the SoS of MO, related to confirming his eligibility to appear on the R primary ballot (for U.S. Senate), given that under law, all candidates whose names appear on the ballot in MO, must be eligible for the job. Indeed, several questions arose even before I clicked on the Scribd link to that letter you sent to my blog. Who are you? What is the provenance of that letter? In other words, how did this letter ostensibly addressed to Mr. Maldonado, happen to come to you? Why isn’t this letter posted on the candidate’s U.S. Senate primary web site? I looked at the letter which you linked in a comment to my web site. Seems you created both that page and your new name just for this purpose. Immediately visible were ‘cosmetic’ concerns. What happened to the state seal (and the address in the footer and several words clearly missing from the margins)? Where is the designation this was a Registered Letter? Even with these telltale warning signs as to the authenticity of any letter you provided, nevertheless, I read the letter. Again, more questions. The election official in your letter says, ‘We could have accepted voting records to verify the 9-year citizenship required to be a U.S. Senator but you only registered to vote in 2008. Now, we need further evidence you have been a citizen for 9 (nine) years.’

jdirt, given that you are shilling for citizens’ votes for Mr. Maldonado so that he can become a U.S. Senator; both you and he will have to provide better evidence of his veracity than this, before I will concede, he is exactly who he says he is.

Hector should concede to Chuck Purgason, the true conservative Republican with the only chance to win the US Senate, Missouri Primary against RINO Representative Roy Blunt on August 3rd. And Chuck can win against Obama lapdog Robin Carnahan in November.

Chuck’s record of fiscal responsibility is in the open, and even in the news in the Missouri Senate special session currently debating corporate welfare for Ford in Kansas City.

Your vote for Chuck Purgason on August 3rd is essential to win back Senate representation for Missourians.

Hi jbjd,

I guess you are upset because I published the letter you requested and it contradicted your conclusion.

I simply wrote to him and he sent it to me.

I have been using the name jdirt for a very long time and I have been registered at scribd since June of 2009 which you can see on my public profile there. Check your messages on blogtalk.

I cannot answer any of your questions regarding the letter, I did not scan it, you will have to address those questions to Mr. Maldonado yourself. I am sure he will answer anything that you have. Better yet, just email Sharon Schreiber yourself politely and ask her if that is the letter that was sent to Mr. Maldonado.

I am not campaigning for Mr. Maldonado, I am just trying to set the record straight.

Hope that helps. At some point you have to believe not everyone is a con. Take it easy.

I said in my article that Mr. Maldonado claimed to have received a “Registered” letter from the SoS. However, a review of the video from the Branson Radio interview shows clearly, he said, the letter was “Certified.” (The WND article by Chelsea Schilling often linked throughout the internet to spread Mr. Maldonado’s story also quotes him as saying, this was a “Certified” letter. However, in all fairness to Ms. Schilling, it would appear she merely transcribed the video of that Branson interview, which accompanies the piece, and did not actually check on any of the claims therein before posting her article.) Oops, I made a mistake and will issue a correction. (I have been so tired trying to keep up with the work...) But just to be sure, I checked the tape of the radio broadcast of the interview Mr. Maldonado instigated with his pal, Jonathan Cousar, on FreedomTorch, back on June 11. Guess what? In this recording, Mr. M. clearly says, he got a “Registered” letter from the SoS. Listen.

The moral of this update is clear. If you do not want “jbjd” to catch you trying to con the American people, you will need to get your stories straight.

(I find quite telling that when you post here on FR, which does not Moderate, you omit sexually offensive lines like the ones you included in comments you sent to my blog, which I removed before posting your comment.)

jbjd, I hope you get the answers you need. I am not sure why this is such a contentious issue for you.

As it stands I understand that there is a discrepancy in whether the letter was registered or certified and that you have a problem because it is not on his official campaign website.

Well I don't want to answer for him but I am sure the first issue could be cleared up easy enough and as far as it not being on his official website, I imagine he does not want that to be the focus of his campaign or he was advised not to. I don't think that it needs to be there to be authentic.

I don't think my moniker is an issue either. Your moniker is no different to me.

Lastly, I don't feel that "take it slower next time" is some kind of sexual innuendo. Please. You took that way out of something. I have no reason or interest in anything close to that. I have no desire to attack you or offend you in anyway. I realize the internet seems to have become a place for people to lash out at one another but I really dislike that type of behaviour.

Again I admire your skepticism but I don't think it is necessary to be so harsh.

Hopefully, an established reporter will be communicating with MO and will satisfy everyone's curiousity.

Here is a new scan using a pdf format. Carnahan Demand of Citizenship Doc
