To: Wilderness Conservative

A well-settled antipathy between Boston and New York is as much a part of the game as hot dogs and beer. Of course the Boston fans hated Steinbrenner. Lots of Yankee fans did, too. I would expect nothing else.

Short of and expletive-filled rant, I am prepared to cut Bosox fans a lot of slack on this one. It’s how they show they care.

Besides- some of my best friends are Yankees fans. We speak from October through March!!!!

Actually, the real anger is reserved for their own. I am a Dodger fan. I might be able to imagine an invinceably ignorant Steinbrenner eventually in Heaven. Imagining Walter O'Malley there takes considerably more effort.
