Too bad. When I clicked over I thought this might have been an auction of the obscene painting; and I thought it might have reported that it went for $108 (including the auction premium paid by the buyer).

Is there any national figure who will say 'enough is enough'? Leftists have been trying to normalize aberrant behavior for decades. Looks like they are finally gaining strength due to the morally bankrupt politicians in charge of the country. Has decency died? We need a resurgence of positive role models. Our youths think anything/everything is OK (moral relativism) because the Left has had the power for so long and our youths are not being taught critical thinking. Good luck to those of us who still believe standards are still important.

A reality tv show has absolutely nothing to do with art in America. JMO.

I thought that worthless bag of excrement calling himself Andres Serrano died of AIDS years ago.

Serrano explains his art. "Life, art, politics. It's all the same s---.... People in general always think their s--- is the best. So if you really want to see some real s---, check out my s---." Six times he utters the expletive; the students giggle with glee. So he's admitting his art is sh!t, or "THE" sh!t.

And now the contestants are given their assignment: Create a body of art as shocking as that of Serrano. Want to try something REALLY shocking? Do a portrait series of EVERY President of the United States as a monkey...
I'll give you a start to base the other representations on.

One man says he will make an artwork about that "taboo theme," the sexually abusive priest. "It's not an anti-religion piece," he claims. "I don't know anybody personally who's been sexually abused by a priest, but I read a statistic once that said there were more Catholic priests living with AIDS than there were everyone else."
76% of all statistics are made up, including this one about statistics.

Our artist paints the scene, but the judges are appalled. There is no shock value, they proclaim. "It should have been a photograph of you attempting this position," a judge laments. Translation: The judges didn't get off looking at it. Pornography is "what gets you hot", while erotica is "what gets me hot".
The artist should have gone for abstraction and just given the painting the same "conceptual" name.
